I Hope this post is within the rules, this has been a very confusing situation and it's been difficult to get any input.

Me and my ex-fiance were together for 8 years. I thought she was the one, spent money on the perfect engagement ring and she said yes.

After only 1 month of having a ring on her finger she started to party a whole lot, I told her my concerns and how i had felt about her coming home at odd hours in the AM clearly smelling like an entire night of drinking.

After a few of these conversations there was a clear change in her behavior around me, I could tell that she had begun to resent me. When I brought this up, her intent became very clear. She was looking for an out.
