i'm not really talking about relationships, more about people criticizing/rejecting your work

i dont know how to manage these feelings so i'm anxious about sharing my work and i work in a field where it's literally the only way to make a living

i dont know what to do. it's either this "blocking" anxiety where i can't do anything, or i overcome it but then after a critic (or someone talking to me b i can't manage it and drink or smoke or cry

Based on the available research and your professional experience, where is the limit between pathology and "laziness" when it comes to this subject?

By "clinophilia", I mean staying in bed all day, as in as in 90% of the day.

I'm particularly interested in your opinion for cases where there are no symptoms besides extreme clinophilia (no signs of depression or schizophrenia etc). Is that even possible in the first place?

Are there non-chemical therapies that can actually really help bipolar type 2 (CBT etc)?

Important note: when I say "really", I'm talking about a response rate (or even a remission rate) similar to medication.

And more generally, how likely is it that a good diet, good sleep habits and exercise can make bipolar 2 liveable without meds?

Do you feel any kind of resentment toward people who release their apps 100% free (no ads, not freemium, completely free)? What I mean by that is: do you see what they do more as a 'public service' or do you think it ruins the market? I've been wondering about this especially since the rise of vibe coding, where there aren't really high stakes for the people who can create apps.

My question was removed from r/askpsychology I'm not sure why

1/ How long do your episodes last? (hypomania, depression and euthymia)

2/ Do your cycles follow a pattern that makes your episodes almost predictable? Example: do they reoccur every x years, or can one of your euthymic phase last 4 months, but then another will last 2 years?

I personally know people who were convinced they had ADHD and went chasing a diagnosis. Even though their neuropsych tests came back negative, they kept 'doctor shopping' until they found someone to give them a prescription. But once they were on the meds... nothing changed. It turns out their focus issues were actually depression or anxiety.

The ones who accepted it started antidepressants and/or CBT, and they’re actually doing better now. But others just won't listen. One of them is my sister-in-law, and honestly, it’s driving me nuts: she’s clearly depressed but is dead set on it being ADHD. She’s on 80mg of Ritalin and it’s doing absolutely nothing.

Do you personally know anyone like
