Cut content

Question

I came across the shack with the 2 burned bodies outside that was situated behind 'Bear's Cave Mill'. Apparently, there is a mod to include it in the game but I was wondering if it was intended to be a quest or just another character/location to be added. The note left behind leads me to believe it was a miscellaneous quest but from what I've seen online, it's only a new location and character with added guard dialogue.

Making a playthrough more challenging

Discussion

In my current playthrough, I defeated the dragon at the Western Watchtower and then went to say hi to Miraak then back to Skyrim. He's obv taking the dragon souls and it kinda feels like it takes more effort to get a dragon soul. I know it's nothing groundbreaking but it makes the journey to defeating Alduin a little more worth it for me and not just another day in Skyrim.

Apart from playing survival, using mods and increasing the difficulty, what do you do (or not do) to make a playthrough a little more challenging?

Question about ethics

Discussion

I've recently read stories about employees leaving companies and getting therapy because of some practices of the company.

Mostly, it was content and community mods being exposed to graphic content or being asked to keep certain users active in spite of their ongoing violations. In some other cases, there was exploitation of gig workers or customers. Some of the companies offered basic mental health support given the nature of the work but the employees didn't feel it helped at all.

I've been fortunate so far not to have come across situations like these before or at least where I've felt I've had to balance ethics against performance. I was wondering how you (would) manage this. Is this

Adopting Meeko

I know Hearthfire needs to be installed and a child has to ask if Meeko can stay. Can Meeko live in a CC home like Hendraheim or Goldenhills Plantation or can he only live at a city or hold house?
