I’m not sure if I can ask about this here.

I’m attempting to finish my dissertation and I’m at my wit’s end. Actually, my committee and me are at our wit’s end. The stupid thing is driving me nuts and I just want it over with.

Are there any academic proofreaders? I’m happy to pay. Background: dissertation is on disability and science Anglophone literature post 45. I’m at a state university PhD program. Committee cochairs went to Ivy League schools so they thrive off insanity.

As the subject title states, I’m finishing the final season and I’m a fan of Hardy and Miller as friends, frenemies, potentially more... is there a place to chat about them so I don’t burst?

My neurologist is titrating me up on Vimpat. I tend to be sensitive to medications so I'm going up on this drug slowly. I find that Zonegran and now Vimpat help my seizures, although jeez, I'm suddenly incredibly anxious and moody. I'm on 50 mg in the AM and 100 mg in the PM with the goal set for 100 mg in the AM and PM. I'm also on Zoloft to help stabilize me.

Does the anxiety and moodiness go away? Should I notify my neurologist?

ETA: I was also just diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis and my job is contractual since I'm an adjunct, which both may contribute to my anxiety.

My rheumatologist prescribed meloxicam 15 mg for AS. I can deal with the upset stomach, but are migraines and horrible neck pain (flu-like pain) normal? I had to take my migraine medication today and still couldn't function. So far, it isn't really helping my back pain, but I've only been on it a few days.
If the side effects are normal, will they go away?

I changed my username, but I post here and my rheumatologist thinks AS. Disc degeneration found all the way down. Spine curvature, which the radiologist said could be scoliosis. Radiologist said no inflammation, but another doctor said inflammation. Arthritis and sclerosis found with bony growths in SI joints. Thoughts?
