And we’ve been married for more than a year. They’re in my basement, I don’t think my husband knows they’re there. I’ve had every chance to drink them and hide it, and I haven’t touched them.

In my past life they wouldn’t have lasted more than a week. And I would have finished them all, whether they were something I liked or not.

I know I could just toss them, and maybe that would be the smart choice, but knowing they’re there and I don’t need them makes me feel so powerful and good.

My big sister is the ultimate pink/love/valentines person, and she’s really going through it right now. She lives states away from me and I am trying to put together a valentines package to mail to her.

I’m just looking for ideas of things to include. I thought I would get a cute cozy sweatshirt/pants set, and probably send some cookies or brownies (I became an expert at mailing baked goods during the year of long distance with my now husband), but I was hoping to get some other ideas that are cute and fun without being too childish or feeling like I’m just reminding her she’s single on Valentine’s Day.
