I've read the sub FAQs but specifically for Xmas, what is a must not miss? My mother grew up in Hamtramack in the 60's and moved out west in the 80's before she had me. Best Polish food, Christmas villages, holiday markets, and the like?
Breweries, distilleries, wineries, dispensaries?
Also heading towards a suburb of Brighton for a few days after so any recommendation out that way is highly appreciated. Extra kudos goes to anybody that can recommend something cheap my snobby uncle doesn't know about.
