It's my girlfriend my dog & I. Our dog is a therapy dog for seniors. She goes to a senior home and plays with old people, and sick people, and people can do whatever the hell they want to her. Poke her ears, grab her face, my dog puts up with anything & everything.

We have friends who are married & have a 4 year old daughter. We hang out a lot, and their kid LOVES our dog, but our dog isn't the most fond of their kid, mainly because the kid is always pulling our dogs ear and yelling near it. We let our dog put up with this for a while and then we tell the kid & their parents "Doggy needs to rest now so she can go to work tonight, please leave her alone".

I have told them

Friend of mine was recently diagnosed with huntington's, and on top of never wanting to have kids in the first place, she told me this solidified her feeling and she's in a weird way happy about the fact she'll never have regrets for not having kids. Her mom is pushing her to change her mind, saying how it's only a 50% chance she passes it on, and the joy of having kids is worth the risk. I told my mom this thinking about how crazy it sounds & my mom says "Well she's right. Kids are the reason you live, and even if there's a chance they are born with it too, it's a chance you have to take"

How are people that old so damn stupid?

I have the day off work, so I figured I would run some errands, like picking up some house hold things, so I head over to Walmart, assuming it's not that busy.

I was right! Not busy at all, in fact it's so slow in my small town that they had maybe 3 cashiers total - 1 express lane, 1 regular lane, 1 watching the self check outs. Since i'm never really in a rush to leave, I decide to get into the regular line up, which had about 4 people in front of me. As I wait i'm watching this family shop. It's a woman, with her two young daughters (i'd say 2 & 3) and the woman's mother. They get to pay, and WOW do they have loud voices. Letting EVERYONE around know what they're buying, and what need

Walking on the sidewalk, this guy comes speeding & drills me. I go flying, he flies off the bike. I get up and not so politely ask him why he's so f*cking stupid? Who speeds on a motorized cycle and on the sidewalk? He then tells me it's my fault for wearing headphones & I should have looked before walking. As he tried to leave, I told him not to go anywhere because I was calling the cops to investigate it because I was potentially injured. He called me a bitch for telling on him, and tried to speed off, but not before I could kick the wheel & he went flying off it again, then complaining he was hurt.

You see cyclists, the problem begins with you. I get it, you're not all jerks

Part of my job involves going to people's homes in neighborhoods. So as i'm walking up to one of these homes, there's 2 women & a child, maybe 1-2 years old. I will assume the 2 women are mother/grandmother to the kid. So the kid starts to cry and scream, because that's what kids do. What does the "mom" do?

"Stop screaming. Do you see that man? If you scream he is going to take you away, do you want that to happen?"

What kind of bullshit garbage parenting is this? Telling your child if they don't stop crying a stranger will steal them? Why don't you shitty parents learn better parenting.

Quick little story. Old friend from high school who is total mombie sends me a message to get someone else's number.

Friend: Hey North, how are you? Long time no talk

Me: Hi, i'm great, thanks for asking, how are you? Long time no talk!

Friend: OMG thanks for asking the kids are great. They're all getting so big, they miss their uncle North

I've never met this woman's kids. Does she even read or just see what she wants?

I'm beginning to understand mombies through my own friends on facebook. The ones who obsess over their children aren't great at anything. They have no personal accomplishments, they have go nowhere jobs, they're just not satisifed with themselves. It seems they go gaga over their children and shove them down everyone's throats because this is their way of being important in this world. They are making it better by putting everything they can into their child.

15-18 years from now, when these children are grown up and these moms are completely lost, there will be a ton of Therapists making good money trying to "fix" them, letting these women know "it's okay, you did the best you can".

Are you often dismissed as a hater?

Overall I like kids. I find them entertaining, and smart, and witty, and good human beings. I think you can learn a lot from kids because of how innocent & smart they are.

But I don't want kids. I never want to have kids. I enjoy other people's kids but I don't want them forever. When your kid starts acting up, I want them to not be around me.

I never get mad at kids because it's true - "Kids are kids". I get mad at the parents.

I hate when I see shitty parents bring 2-3 kids along to do groceries, and they take up a whole isle spread out walking like selfish garbage. And if you try & walk by, you get a death stare because that isle belongs to
