hi all, my LO is 7 months old and cannot go to sleep without feeding/being held. i haven’t slept more than 3 hours since they were born.
we have decided to sleep train but using the ferber method. they currently have a cold so we are waiting to start (cannot come soon enough) but i have a few questions.
-
checkin times. say we put them down and do the 3min, 5min and 8min and they go to sleep. if they wake do we start again from 3 mins or carry on to the 10 mins??
-
they are breastfed so i always assume they need milk during the night. they are quite good at not falling asleep on the breast but i typically give in and end up co sleeping with them. should i continue to breastfeed if they
Help needed! My nearly 7mo will only fall asleep during being fed, I feel I have tried everything!! Feeding half an hour before bed, rocking, unlatching before sleep and soothing, bouncing, holding then out down after a decreasing amount of minutes and we’ve also created new sleep associations (white noise, bum patting). Nothing will work. They still wake up 6/7 times per night and will only go back to sleep with the boob. Occasionally they will take a dummy and this keep them asleep for maybe 30 minutes.
I need success stories. How did you stop the feeding to sleep cycle?
Is there anywhere in Manchester, preferably south Manchester or city centre that you can go and have a spa day (massage and facial) then get your hair done?
I have a big birthday coming up and looking for a collective present from family.
Our LO turns 4 months on the 3rd. He is EBF and we are doing really well. However the last few nights and days have been awful. He just won’t sleep unless he is latched.
He is showing signs of teething, drooling, chewing, general irritability unless he gets some medicine.
He also refuses a soother and is very temperamental on the bottle. Has anyone had a similar experience or has any ideas or tips? I fear we have tried everything.
We would just like to have a few hours of solid sleep.
Hi All, I recently found out I was pregnant and struggling with tiredness. I used to live on coffee but I’ve read that you should have more than two cups per day. Do any of you have any energising tips to keep me awake during the day at work?
We are heading to york on the 12th, for what would have been our wedding day, I have just gone to book a table at Mr Ps curious tavern and it’s closed down!! Any recommendations for similar places to eat? We are staying in the city centre so can’t be too far away.
