So the fans and computer were getting dusty inside so I opened it up and took it apart to clean everything. (I obviously turned it off and unplugged it before doing this)

I put it all back together, booted it up and it seemed to be operating normally but it can't find the ethernet port. On the back there are no lights on (before had the orange), when I go to device manager it is greyed out (Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller).

Device status I get:

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

I've tried turning it off completely, unplugging everything and holding down the power button

This is problem I see all over, every YouTube tutorial has this problem and no one ever talks about actually fixing it. I have it set up so that the button has focus set on it, the animation plays which would indicate it's getting proper focus, I have Focus set to "Always" in the editor just for debugging purposes to see if it is getting focus which is claims it is (note, if I put it to Nav Only it doesn't have the blue outline until I move the thumbstick).

No matter what I try I just cannot figure out how to get it working with gamepad. I ALWAYS have to go to another button and then back to get that first button to work. ex. I hit the pause button, the focus goes to the "resume" butto

I can't use Plex through Rogers XFinity because the dumb app (through Rogers) doesn't support personal media servers and the TV I want to use only has HDMI inputs, no USB inputs (it's an older TV) and I can't stream directly to the TV. I don't really understand Chromecast/Firestick, but it looks to be what I want(?). Can I use my own media server with Plex using those? Any suggestions would be helpful.

My old project file was made in 5.6.1, but it has gotten so convoluted that I decided to remake it in 5.7 (it's not that big), but what I noticed is that when I attach my own custom Actor Components, they aren't being attached like before, whereas before they were under the Character Movement, now when I add it it gets added to the top. I don't know if this makes a difference, if this is a change in 5.7, or what is happening. I couldn't find any documentation on this changing so I don't know what's going on or if this matters at all.

This has been going on for a while now and I can't figure out what the hell is going on. I finally put on OBS today to see what window was opening up because it is like 4 frames before it disappears again.

I never knew what it was, but today I was able to see it is, at the top of he blue screen it says, "C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe"

I have run Windows Defender/anti-virus and it found nothing, I have run Malwarebyes and it found a bunch of stuff, deleted all the malware, within 2 seconds it pops back up. Making this post it pops up. What the hell can I do?

I can't view Task Scheduler because it gives me an error opening upand says, "MMC has detected an er

I've had this problem a few times with various projects and just avoid using certain things in substance because I don't understand why it stretches like this on certain UV's even though the UV's themselves are all unfolded and set up. Here is a picture of what I mean by the stretching, I am using the black mask to show it off better of what I mean. https://imgur.com/3LaBrYv

Here is the UV in maya: https://imgur.com/ijwjQMw

Here is the UV in substance, the bigger UV islands work fine, but the smaller ones get that stretching: https://imgur.com/84nefGA

So my object has 25ish meshes, when I bake them individually (I tested them all individually to make sure the high to low poly bake looked good for each piece) they all work out great like this picture shows , the piece is already baked and looks good. But when I try and do it with all the meshes, it looks like this. In the baking settings I've turned on Match by Mesh Name, I chose self occlusion Only Same Mesh Name.

In the past when I did this method it worked fine, now it isn't. Any suggestions/help?

I'm re-watching 24 and the app always crashes when I try and watch episodes, I'll re-open the app and try again and it crashes at the same part of the episode, I re-start the app again and fast forward a few minutes because maybe the show file is just corrupted there, but it eventually crashes anyway within seconds. And I know it's not a corrupted uploaded file onto D+ because it works fine on my PC's.

Never had this problem until this last week.

I've got all the edges except one area good for smoothing, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get this one area crisp without either pinching or ruining the cylinder. I posted both versions, normal and smoothed, you can see when it's smooth it pinches in that one area. See the pictures: https://i.imgur.com/mJu0vML.jpg https://i.imgur.com/0zzclgb.jpg https://i.imgur.com/xys1tys.jpg https://i.imgur.com/3tYLDRv.jpg https://i.imgur.com/QN9Dcej.jpg https://i.imgur.com/UC3l6J7.jpg . Any suggestions to either get rid of it completely or at least minimize it some?

I don't know what is causing this issue, I've posted screenshots to show what I mean. No matter what I do, if I delete the faces and remake it, there's always a vertex that won't conform with the rest of the mesh, even if I move all the verts around it, it won't move. I don't know what happened and have no idea how to fix it with out just remaking the entire thing. If I move it within the face it like overlaps itself, I don't know what to press to fix it. https://i.imgur.com/zTIzVy0.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VbHOVs7.jpg https://i.imgur.com/IQylBEO.jpg
