Hello, Ive built a garden room within permitted development so the ceiling height is not the highest and has a 3 degree slope inside. I'm looking for advice on a ceiling mount that is a slim as possible whilst still having adjustment so I can level it from the 3 degrees. I also don't want it to be too expensive if possible please. I'm in the UK and any help would be great please.

Hi All! First time here and I'm building a garden room that I want to have a sound system in. I'm planning on using a mini PC for everything media in the room but also want a Karaoke setup to run through the Bluetooth speakers from the PC.

My initial thoughts were to run a USB mixer for the mic inputs, run Karafun on the PC and then output to Bluetooth. Would this work? Would there be any latency? If so, what equipment would everyone recommend please?

Hi All. Im hoping someone can help. For Christmas I have a tree in my front garden and Im thinking of an idea to wrap 3 meters worth of led strip up the trunk of the tree and then in the actual tree, scatter a led pixel string through it. My idea is to use the firework effect for the firework pixel to run up the trunk and then explode on the pixels in the tree.

Ideally id like to keep them both separate on separate WLED instances on different control boards. So my question is, is this possible on two separate instances? If this is not possible then what would peoples suggestions be please?

Hello all! I need some advice. I'm looking at using the AtmosFX Pumpkin projection for some pumpkins in the garden. However, my plan is I want to use home assistant to play a video at certain times on a remote RPI connected to a projector. And the rest of the time, just a video on loop until a little show plays.

My question is, what's the best software to use on the RPI to play a video on loop and and then trigger a other video via home assistant, is this at all possible?

Hi All! I know this has been discussed a lot but I'm going to my first pixel phone and first android phone in absolute years! Ive never had a curved screen before and have realised that this becomes an issue with glass screen protectors. I know its expensive but I like the lifetime warranty offer as well. What are peoples thoughts on this protector? I don't want to get the Whitedome one that Ive seen mentioned on here.

Hi All, still having an issue with my esp8266 board resetting on a set of 5m digital LEDs. I have asked on here before and tried a few of people suggestions. I improved the WiFi signal by soldering an antenna to the board and get a decent 80-85% signal most of the time. I’ve also added a 1000uF cap across the 5V and GND inputs on the board. Yet after this I’m still getting issues with the board resetting. I’ve getting quite fed up with it now because it doesn’t always reconnect to the network and I have to use AP mode to reset it and get it to reconnect again.

However, what would people recommend for a non stick solution that isn’t a special product that I would have to get offline? I was thinking of using silicone lubricant or Vaseline? hello, hopefully this is just a quick one. I have a new WLED setup with my home assistant in the garden, along with two Phillips hue products. Now I have a scene setup for between sunset and midnight and this happens in one automation. The next automation at midnight should activate another scene which turns off the WLED strip and turn the other lights to a dull blue. When I woke up this morning, the other lights had changed correctly but the WLED strip was still turned on… if I activate the scene manually then it turns off. Does anyone have any idea why this might be please?
