Ive had to take my mother on a touristy NYC trip today(lived here two decades and just NOW she finally decides she wants me to show her around, lol). In any case, i rambled down to Chinatown and hit up TenRens Tea on a lark. Looks like they have a few spots in major cities, but i have not tried them out before. Nabbed a Lychee black tea, along with some standard Tie Kuan Yin(Tie Guan Yin) and some tins.
Prices werent miserable/werent amazing, but was nice to see a big tea spot where i was more used to the small hole in the wall places.(The kind where its more dried remedies, "diet" teas, etc.)
Anyone else have experience with them?
Better than the cleaning that usually coincides with this time of year. Actually the cleaning part happened earlier, as i have steadily drunk through most of my teas of the winter and figure its time for a new order.
I am/was new to teas in general, so i have yet to experience a good spring tea variety from some fresh flushing. Are there any suggestions or expectations i should try? Is this generally limited to green teas(which i dont mind), or is now the time to pick up some tasty blends in general?
Had to happen near the end of the day too, didnt it. Cleaning out at the back kitchen, and got a slip and hit just perfectly to break it cleanly in two.
Luckily its fairly clean, so i will glue it back together at least for memory sake while i order a few new ones(been meaning to get a new one for home anyway so why not).
His last tea of the day was some Oolong, i dont know what i will do for the Friday morning without him. I guess ill have to dig out one of those damnable ball strainers(of which i have plenty as people have gifted me a bunch under the 'You like tea right' process).
What disasters have you all had/averted. And more importantly, what kind of tea should i drink at home to c
Been excited for the mystery order i placed, especially after hearing good things from here so often. I also nabbed an intro to tea pack, so i can have the wife try a few things out at home and see which way she goes. Wish i could have pics(but im at work), but it looks great. I already saw some of that wild boar i have seen mentioned. Excited to try my first "wild" tea amongst all the others.
Thanks for improving my work day(and work stash, which was getting low).
Let me start by saying im not disparaging anyone who does play this way. All the x builds, and must fly ships and No rainbow beam users, etc, etc.
However i just returned to this game after a long long hiatus. I finally got a friend to get into it(hes a huge trek fan, so no idea why it took this long). So we made new toons and are running through the seasons. My worry, especially looking at the subreddit here occasionally, is that we are going to soon hit some kind of wall. Where we will have to stop goofing off and play serious. Look into specific builds, farm up items/rep. The kind of stuff that i just know will kill this for him.
So what i want to know is, how strong is this overall m
Consider this your Tenno confessional. Whats your darkest secret tenno? What did you buy with plat, low level farm, or AFK for? What terrible burden weighs you down?
Myself...I have never done a Raid event. Despite being a multi year veteran who has done all other content.
Not that i dont love the community(in principle or theory at least) but the thought of trying to do an event with upwards of 6+ pubbies/non friends just makes me....meh...
Ill never have an arcane for a build(save all my OG arcane helmets of course) and ive made my peace with it.
What about you Tenno? What about that time you purposefully ran that missile around a corner into the low level on your squad? Yeah, we saw t
So at work i have a small porcelain cup/set to do some gong fu brewing for just myself(not a lot of tea drinkers in the office). I have a generic lapsang i usually have at work but recently had a chrysanthemum mix recommended by a friend. Thats where the issue arose. My wife bought me some more when i was running low from the same store. She must have looked mostly at the tin and grabbed what she thought was this Chrysanthemum tea, but instead ended up being an Oolong.
No problem, i like Oolong...but ive never brewed it before since switching to the gong fu over the infuser.
Long story short, i ended up using a bit more than i probably should have(was not aware of just how much the leaves
As the title implies. Right now the Exacalibur circle jerking is intense. There has got to be some warframes you guys love and which are feeling a bit neglected right now. What is it, what do you love about it, maybe what do you want to see improved in it.
For me: Ash- He was what i wanted Excalibur to be when i first started playing. Cool moves, very melee/ninja themed. I wanted to run around super fast and kill everything in the room, and Ash let me do that. He is my longest played time frame(though Loki is very close second).
I dont want much for him, but with his new Prime coming up im hoping it at least looks cool and doesnt have some wonky polarizations that will make me want to burn
