Like many Lego fans here, I am really wishing for some Cosmere Lego sets. So I was pretty bummed out when Lego Ideas rejected that recent proposed Cosmere Lego set by u/Mathemagician23.
However, I am wondering if Brando Sando should work with the set designer and start selling the proposed set himself. Plenty of websites online will buy up Lego bricks to sell their own sets (ScienceGrit for lab themed sets, websites that will make sets based on pics of pets/etc), so no reason for Sanderson not to do that too, especially if he owns the rights to his merchandising and can gauge interest (via Kickstarter).

Was there a criminal underworld on Laconia?
In The Expanse, one societal aspect that is emphasized on Earth, Mars, The Belt, and the Ring Planets (after they have been settled long enough) is the presence of a criminal underworld. However, Laconia is the one exception to this rule, as is reinforced in the Auberon novella.
My question is: was there really no criminal underworld on Laconia, even after its conquest of Sol/Ring Gates and the large influx of people to the center of the new empire? Criminal networks have always developed regardless of government types, and especially in totalitarian societies (see the many examples of black markets in 20th century dictatorships).

Hello, I had a question about when a calendar lists the parsha. For instance, chabad.org lists this week’s parsha as Shemot. Does this mean the first aliyah for Shemot was read at yesterday’s Shabbat mincha, then will be read again tomorrow (Monday) and this Thursday, and finally read in full this coming Shabbat? Does this hold true for anytime the calendar lists the week’s parsha, that it was what was being read during that week leading up to the full reading on Shabbat, followed by next week’s parsha being read (first aliyah only) at that Shabbat’s mincha? Or, does this mean something else? Thank you

Walter mentions a few times in the series how he believes humanity naturally evolved various abilities but they were switched off for some reason or by someone. This led him to develop cortexiphan to reactivate these abilities. Any theories on who/what/why did this?
