Preface: I personally love updates that add new sandbox elements to the game. These types of updates add so much variety and life to the game due to the new strategies they add to both PvE and PvP combat. Therefore, I brainstormed what I think is a cool update idea for SOT: elixirs. These items would be throwables (can be shot out of cannons and have an effect at the point of impact) that can be combined in a crafting station (new station found on outposts and select islands) with each other or with other items to create elixirs with different effects. There would be three base elixirs that form the foundation: the elixir of shroud, the elixir of healing, and the elixir of slowing. I am

How the technique works:

Any inanimate, non-cursed object that the user can completely envelop with their hand (wrap their fingers completely around it, almost "hide" it in their hand) is absorbed. The user then gains the ability to manifest the "intention" of the item in a combat sense at the cost of expending cursed energy for a temporary amount of time. When it comes to combat, the item absorbed determines the type of ability that is granted to the user, while the amount of energy that the user expends using the ability granted to them determines the strength (will get more into this below if you are interested). The amount of time that they have the technique is determined by th

HEAR ME OUT! HOLD THE TOMATOES! A problem that I have always had with the idea of PvE in this game is that it would 1. split the player base and 2. be contrary to the vision of arc raiders imo. However, the PvE and destiny-esque encounter potential in this game is massive. Therefore, I propose this idea:

Imagine you are looting on stella montis or buried city or something and you get a key item titled, I don't know, like "Encounter Key" or something (riveting name I know). This key would be a one time use for a PvE only encounter for you and your squad (maybe you could even squad up with more than 3 for this purpose). I imagine that these PvE events would function like a puzzle with arc to

The Technique - Luck of the Draw

The user conjures a deck of 52 cards, 13 per suit (spades, hearts, clubs, diamonds). The user exhausts CE to draw a card and can only wield one card at once. An additional card cannot be drawn for three seconds after a card is "used." If the user wants to bypass this waiting time, they have to spend much more CE and take a physical damage penalty. Each suit has a different use case, and the value determines the strength (2 being the weakest, and king being the strongest). The ace cards are the absolute strongest cards to pull, and have additional special effects. Each card, upon being used, creates a tool in the wielder's hand that is destroyed upon being

Yea this pokemon sucks. My idea for a mega would be that its stats go from 70 across the board to 70HP, 20ATK, 115DEF, 130SpATK, 115 SpDEF, 70SPD. Its ability forecast gets changed to forecast + a double increase to speed when a weather effect is active. Overall, I think a huge buff like this is the only possible saving grace for castform 😭

The Idea:

Base HP and damage kept the same, and it would be need to be played twice before gaining the evo boost. The radius of the death explosion would be increased by a decent amount, probably like 1.3-1.5x. When damaged, the ice golem would emit a damaging aura around it (same radius as its evo death explosion) that also applies a slow to affected enemies and towers. I’m thinking the damage at level 11 would be 42 each second, or half of its death damage and normal attack damage.

42 dmg each second would two shot bats and skeletons and, while not being enough to kill them before dying, would allow it to take out goblins and minions on its own (or get very close).

Tell me what you guy

Context: I haven’t played any of the other ds games, but I do know the lore from watching lore videos on YouTube lol. This also isn’t my first time ever playing ds3, pontiff made me rage quit my first time playing lol. I also followed a walkthrough for the game (I prefer the combat aspect of this game rather than the exploration) and I tried to actually have a good build. I went for the strength soft cap at 66 with the heavy exile greatsword plus a lot of armor and poise to be able to trade hits with enemies.

Things I Loved: The boss fights were fantastic and even the ones I found more boring like the deacons and frustrating like the nameless king’s first phase or all of Aldrich (nightmare)

The idea is this, whenever you customize a ship, you can choose an additional blessing for the ship, which adds an upgrade of sorts to your boat. Each blessing would have an effect displayed on the hull, above the crows nest, etc that shows what type of blessing the ship is using. Take each of these ideas with a grain of salt, and please provide constructive feedback if you want to! I think this is a cool idea, and I want to see if yall think the same. Also, for balancing reasons, perhaps the blessing you use is locked after you first select it from an outpost?

Blessing of Reinforcements: Skeletons help crew your ship (less skeletons the smaller the ship is). They would fire cannonballs whi

Excerpt from windowscentral.com (https://www.windowscentral.com/gaming/is-wwe-2k25-cross-play-and-cross-progression)

Update on 3/15/2025 at 10:50 a.m. PT / 1:50 p.m. ET: At the time of writing, cross-play doesn't seem to be functioning properly at WWE 2K25's launch, with many players reporting that the feature is currently inaccessible. Notably, the webpage where cross-play and cross-progression were confirmed by developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K has been taken down; this could mean cross-play was removed from the game at the last second, or was accidentally marketed as a feature when it wasn't supposed to be. It's unclear at the moment, but if we get official word from the develop

I’m curious on how console players can text chat, if at all. The VGS option is there, but it doesn’t work, at least not for me. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just me. If it’s not a problem and instead is just not in the game yet for console players, is there a timeline/update for when it will be?

Exactly as the title says. Do people in this game really only play one character? To me, that not only seems like it would make the game get really stale really fast, but also it sounds like you are an active detriment to any team that you are on if you refuse to play any other character lol. That being said, I do get the disappointment that comes with not having some of your favorite gods in the game (Jorm, Chernobog, King Arthur, Merlin, and Cu Chulainn for me), but to me that fact is far outweighed by just how much more fun the base game of Smite 2 is vs Smite 1. To me, not playing Smite 2 simply because your favorite character isn't in it sounds whiny lol. But you guys do you I suppose

It’s time to hop aboard boys. Stop dooming, stop doubting, stop hating, the game is fire and already better than smite 1. It’s not without its flaws of course, but the aspects, new scaling, and graphics make it so much better than smite 1.

All of the things that I’m going to yap about below are my opinion, and if you disagree feel free to voice that in the comments. I am comparing Smite 2’s open beta with smite 1.

Pros of Smite 2 over Smite 1:

  1. Intelligence/Strength scaling: This adds so much more build variety to the game since every god can build every item.

  2. Better/Cleaner graphics: I honestly don’t know how anyone can argue against this. Keep in mind, I am not saying that it has better art direction, just better graphics.

  3. Aspects: Aspects are an awesome change that adds a lot of character and dimension to already existing gods.

  4. Most of the previous god additions/reworks: Adds a lot of cool elements to previo
