I have occasionally modified some epub files in the past, modifying chapter break and section break images that are embedded in some books to make them PNG files with an alpha channel. This is so I wasn't assaulted by a bright white box surrounding the image when I was reading them on my tablet in dark mode, only a bit of white glow around the border of the actual image. This isn't really for the large images with maps and title pages and stuff, but mainly for the images that are inline with text in the book.

I have some vinyl records that I received from my grandfather a while ago, and they have just been boxed up in storage since then. I don't have a setup to play them, nor are they really my type of music. Steam just released an update on the Stable channel that fixes (for me anyway) issues with connecting USB drives to the OLED Steam Deck.
I literally just got finished submitting a support ticket for this issue, and when I was done, there was an update waiting :)

Alright, I figured I would make a quick video for those that may need it to show you how to undo what was done when opening an executable file and having it not ask again, instead of running it...

EDIT: I initially posted this with the video set to private, it's fixed now.

Just saw this on the newest Deck Ready video and haven't seen it posted here yet... I have no connection to any party referenced here in this post, just thought it was interesting.

It's called Deck Cleaner and it is meant to help you free up space by clearing out your Pre-Cached Shaders.

While I know just enough about Linux to get myself into trouble, it should be said that you should be careful when running scripts/commands from someone you don't know on the internet.

There has been confusion on whether or not the warranty will transfer if you buy a Steam Deck from a 3rd party (not Valve). Here is a response directly from Steam Support stating definitively that the warranty will follow the device and is not tied to the original owner.
