I haven't posted one of these before so please bear with me. As the title says, I'm a newer resident to Wake Forest and looking for a Christian counselor in Wake Forest, preferably in the Heritage area by Rogers. The local market seems... saturated to say the least and churches I've called don't have any recommendations. My family has a unique situation in that we are looking for someone that can help with marital counseling and help with an autistic teen.

Any thoughts or experiences would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I debated how to 'flair' this post, given all that happened with the vehicle. But at the end of the day I decided to select positive review. With Carvana I was able to find my dream car, loaded with all the bells and whistles at a price that was so good I was scratching my head. I had a trade in and started the process of purchasing.

I also went to the local dealership to value the trade, but they couldn't come close to the offer and gave me an excuse that 'Carvana is just buying up all the cars they can, etc etc so they aren't really competitive etc etc.' Which had me thinking, 'Well boys that's capitalism.' lol. I also didn't really enjoy the hassling that was happening, but no one really

Hey there, this is my first post in this sub. I just want to say I love seeing how caring and compassionate this group of people is. It really warms my heart.

I have a challenge I'm trying to overcome, or rather some dear friends of mine have a challenge they are trying to overcome and I'd like to help them. They are a married couple, living near Dearborn Michigan and are currently homeless and without resources for basic things including food.

Rachel (not her real name) recently overcame some very serious drug addictions and is free (yay!). She's also found healing from some mental illness and she is *thriving*. Those of us that are friends with her are so incredibly proud of her an

Hey thought I'd let you know about a Facebook group that's up and coming, called Embracing Atypical. I'm part of the admin team there.

The group exists to help autistic people embrace who they are and be proud of their autistic differences. We are new but I really think there are some awesome opportunities to make a difference in our community. Links below!

My Wife and I were talking the other day and I had one of those "moments of clarity."

For years I've struggled with various health issues, from moderate to severe. Issues that led me to alter my lifestyle, fear for my death, lead to disability etc. Most of the issues have now resolved and after a heart surgery last year I no longer have any major risks or problems (party on dude!).

Anyway, back to the talk with the wife... We were reminicising and going through some seasons of life and she got real quiet. After prompting she asked my about my health, particularly in the seasons where my mother had black listed me and refused interaction. Low and behold, my health was and now is much bet

Hi! I have created an account just for posting here. I have been "lurking" for a while and have greatly appreciated the honest stories of the people here. My mom has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and my sister has many features of the same disorder. I understand this disorder far more than I wish that I did. It is amazing how often I've read from the members here and thought to myself, "We're they raised in my house?"

I really love the idea of a place to get feedback, vent and care for one another. I hope I can contribute and thanks again!
