I was headed home last night and I saw my white whale on the radar. The shadow of the only pokemon that I haven't caught. Tirtouga. I rushed to the spot and waited for a minute, with my avatar directly on the pokestop, only to see the pop up, "the pokemon has fled". I know that this message is usually a lie so I waited for about 5 more minutes. restarted the game even. Nothing popped up. The radar completely changed. Tragic. I'm livid.

I wish they (tirgouga and archen) were in raids or something with the other fossil pokemon during this event. I just haven't been this bummed playing this silly game before, and I've lost shinies to fleeing. This stung worse. I just don't know why Niantic do

I'm going to be starting a homebrew with some friends soon, and I'm trying to fill in the world with NPCs. I'm having no trouble coming up with roles that need to be filled, personalities and some backstory for them, but I am having trouble coming up with good names. My go to usually end up being in the territory of puns. A healer named Dr. Vera, if they ask its allo vera. I just don't want that kind of name scheme for everyone. The Xanathar random name table is kinda forgettable. Anyone have any advice?
