Seems to be little information on this feature in Resolve actually being used in the real world. Blackmagic are pushing Replays in Davinci really heavily lately with hardware additions to their stables (Replay Editor deck, new Ultrastudio Replay 12g etc).

We’re looking at some options to replace an aging 3play 425/440 system that honestly gets the job done, but only when it wants to boot.

So I recently acquired a Sony FS700 for slow motion usage in my broadcast, using an Atomos Shogun inferno to capture the 200fps RAW feed out of the camera. My issue from here is getting it to feed the playback from my Atomos as a 50i stream to use for broadcast. For some reason the Atomos will not ouput anything other than 1080p200.

Would love some suggestions on what I could do to make this work for my needs? I cannot unfortunately have a dedicated operator to trigger the record in camera and playback.

Looking to see if any of you folks might have tested this to see if it works… or is this going to be another’Media Mod’ fix down the line? I work in broadcast and would like to use these cameras in live environments.

Is there any way to stop this from happening? I have the drive shared as a network drive, and the security settings constantly change admin access from Read and Write to “no Access”. It seems to happen every reboot of the system.

Extremely frustrating as this is being used in a broadcast environment with video recording equipment recording to this drive for us to edit.

Base model Mac Mini M4.

Have set File Sharing setting to on (in the “Sharing” page of System Settings).

SSD is added as a shared folder, users “Everyone” reverts from ‘Read and Write’ with every reboot to ‘No Access’

Can the Hyperdeck Mini be mapped as a network drive in Mac OS? I see the web interface, and FTP options but I’d want to map it as a network drive. Is this possible?

Looking for advice as a bit of a n00bie with network stuff.

I want to wirelessly control a phone in a fixed position around 500-1000m away with another phone. For context it will be remotely controlling a camera app for video playback. I have the video playback sorted, but both devices need to be on the same network to be able to control them.

Is there a way I can either extend wifi range with Mesh repeaters (this was my first hairbrained idea), or connect these phones to a wired network (I potentially have access to fiber optic cable that run between the positions where my device will be).

Appreciate all advice given, and your patience.

Thinking along the lines of an Atamos device or similar. What’s out there?

Having this issue where ever since changing the resolution on my timeline (originally UHD... trying to change it to an open gate resolution 2880x2160), the project would crash upon opening Davinci. Project is a Blackmagic Cloud based project as well.

After creating a local save of the project (exporting it in Project Manager to my local drive) and opening the project through DB Browser for SQLite, changing the timeline it opens on launch... I can now at least open the project. The issue is that it crashes now no matter what I try and do with that one specific timeline. Aaaand that would be the one I need to save.

I do have timeline backups enabled, but I have no idea

Looking for a bit of advice on how I would go about putting a small car fridge in a hyundai i30 permanently, potentially looking at some kind of dual battery so the fridge can be powered full time without affecting the main battery.

Is this something easy enough done or should I be talking to an auto electrician?

Just wondering how I can access files I have stored on a drive that was originally used with OMV on my MAC? I have installed Paragon extFS and managed to access some of the files on my drive but it appears to not show me all my files. I'm guessing this is locked behind some security thing as the original drives were installed in a PC running OMV that I lost the password for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Haven’t been able to access for months on my iphone 16 or iPad, although partner can access the recordings just fine on her S10. All cams up to date, as is homebase. Indoor cameras are set to record straight to HB3. No amount of resets, app reinstalls or formats seem to fix this issue.

Any ideas?
