Who is your compliance officer in your firm?
Is it a partner, a senior manager?
I’m an admin officer and have been for the last 15 years at my firm and I’ve been thrust into the compliance officer role without any question and I’ve been expected to figure it all out myself basically.
It all feels very heavy and above me, we are a relatively small firm in regional QLD.

I’m thinking of getting my helix and rook pierced.

Love the idea of the rook being hidden away a bit, worried about how much I’m going to snag the helix though.

I have my conch pierced on the same ear, had it for 15 months and struggled with the healing.

Should I just avoid the helix altogether? I have long hair but really wanted the helix for layout purposes.

I don’t know if this is the right place to ask but I was going to purchase some products from an American online store.

The price in USD is 19.60 but when I go to checkout it converts to $38.01 AUD. Currency conversion comes out as $27.38 so I asked them what the difference is and they said it is “any duties and taxes up front so there are no hidden fees later. That can add about $10 AUD to the converted amount.”

I recently purchased a refurbished 14 from an online store in Australia, the first time the screen was glitching so I sent it back and they sent me another one which is having the same issue. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I’ve read it could be an unauthentic screen or battery?

Trying to figure out if I should push for a refund and purchase elsewhere.

Also unsure if glitching is the right word, it’s mostly when I’m exiting apps to the main screen, the background colour flickers and sometimes little colour boxes come up. That’s the best I can describe it without adding a video.

Our hot water (gas) in the kitchen takes forever to turn on, mostly never at all.

It is on the same wall as our laundry that turns hot quickly.

Sometimes we use our bathroom basin which isn’t too far away to kick it through to eventually get hot.

Every other tap in the house the hot water comes through normally.

We have tried turning the tap on and off and waiting etc but unsure what else to try from here. Do we need to get someone in to fix it, if so would a plumber or electrician be better?

My daughter, 9, lashes out whenever my partner (her dad) and has pretty much since she was 3ish.

It’s getting worse lately but even hugging and kissing she will barge in and say heeeyyyy in a sooky/stroppy tone and say what are you doing, stop, she’s my mum etc.

sometimes it will get to a point of her screaming and crying.

I make a point of telling her I’m ok, I love dad and I love his hugs and kisses, I ask her afterwards why she doesn’t like it and what not but she never says.

It’s like a weird possessive thing that I cannot understand but I’m getting over not being able to touch my fiancé.
