Hi!

I have had TMJ for years, it's gotten worse as I got older due to anxiety and stress. The primary issue is that I clench and grind my teeth at night. I was told to use a boil and bite mouthguard by my dentist, he said they were just as good as the custom ones. Helped for a while but now I just constantly chew on it or clench while sleeping with it. It's like it encourages me to clench almost, but I still clench regardless so I wear it anyway.

I was referred to Lesa Campbell for physio three times, but never heard back and I'm getting really frustrated with my dentist and might switch if I can find someone taking patients.

Are there any TMJ specialists you would recommend? I need prima

Hi all,

I got a new kitten, an adorable grey and white 8 week old baby, just today. I got him from a woman whose cat recently got pregnant. I don't know if she smoked or anything but she did live in a very rough part of my city where a lot of people smoke/do other substances, and generally, the streets are not that clean. That's really all I have to go off of.

His eyes are a little watery, almost looks like he's tearing up, but it's more noticeable in his left eye. There has been some goop, in a greenish color, which I know means infection, coming from both eyes. I cleaned it away gently with a warm cloth and he seems to feel better now. He's getting more comfortable with us and he's e

Hi all :)

For context, I have OCD so it always plays into this in part, but it has become a bit less of the main issue and more just an exacerbator. This is more general mental health/coping skills, not OCD specific.

  1. I get upset about something or just have a bad day, and I want to feel seen and I want to feel like people care, and if they don't react or ask me if I'm okay or somehow make it obvious that they notice I'm upset, it makes me a little more upset. Not angry usually, just sad and more alone and more stuck in my head. I know that this is obviously an unfair expectation and a lot of pressure to put on others. I can't expect other people to read my mind, and people have their ow

Hi!

I want to dress up for my job for Halloween but I am a butcher and have no ideas. I wear a white smock, looks like a lab coat, and besides mad scientist, I have zero ideas. I want to do something cute and a little feminine, but lab coat doesn't seem to mesh well with that. Open to makeup ideas or costumes. Thanks!!!!

Hi :) I know the title sounds kinda harsh but let me explain.

So I have this friend, we are pretty close in age and we've known each other since we were babies. We were close when we were younger and are really similar. One thing we have in common is bad anxiety. I have diagnosed OCD and at times it's really severe. I have a tendency to withdraw when things get really bad because I'm so exhausted from being anxious all the time. So when she started to withdraw years ago, I did too and didn't even realize I was doing it. But now I'm at a point in my life where I want friends and social connection. I'm sick of being alone.
She texted me weeks ago with an apology, saying that she's sorry for

Hi all :)

I might be beating a dead horse a bit here, there might be a million posts on here like this, so sorry in advance if that's the case.

I'm a young woman and I've been having a rough patch lately and I need some advice on how best to get out of it.

For context, I have OCD and have struggled immensely with it for years, hating my life and just being miserable all the time. I started researching and did my best with the therapy options I had at the time and have come a long way. Tons of improvement. But I have flare ups often and they come when I get extra stressed, tired, around my period. And sometimes for no reason at all. I also have PMDD and my mood around my period is AWFUL.

Hi all!

Sorry if this might be a little ranty lol, I'm kind of all over the place.

I am a 20yo female. For maybe the past year and a half, or maybe even longer (it all blends together lol), I've been having the most wacky hormonal shifts. At least, that's what it feels like. My periods have been pretty steady and I've been tracking them over the past yearish. Anywhere from 26 to maybe 35 day from start of cycle to start of the next cycle. But overall, a pretty good average of around 28-30 days. It doesn't usually come much later/earlier than that.

I am diagnosed with OCD and PMDD, which both play into being tired all the time and my moodswings, I'm sure, but this doesn't feel like OCD mo

Hi all!

I have been diagnosed by professionals with OCD, GAD, and PMDD, and all of these things greatly impact my life. I am doing my best to live my life with these issues, but every week is different. My OCD has been pretty severe at some points of my life, and I have been practicing ERP for maybe 8 months? Things have definitely gotten better, but some weeks (especially leading up to my period) are just brutal.

I've seen a lot of progress in my OCD symptoms by facing my fears and not doing anything about my anxiety. Just letting it chill with me. I was feeling good, and way more free, but in the past week or two I've been spiraling a bit. Maybe it's just another way for my OCD to get a

Hi all :)

So I've been drinking energy drinks regularly for probably 4 years now, had a couple periods of like 2 months where I quit but ultimately went back. I've quit alcohol and weed permanently (I was addicted) and caffiene multiple times but never permanently. For some reason I haven't been able to quit. I've always gone cold turkey with stuff like this.

I drink a Monster and a 250ml Redbull daily, or 3 250ml Redbulls, so looking at around 240 to 300ish mg of caffiene a day. Sometimes but not often I will have closer to 400mg.

I'm obviously addicted. Headaches and exhaustion from withdrawal. Always have energy drinks with me. Coworkers make jokes all the time and I've had people genu
