I had no idea what to do with the ability to change my resolution to 3200x1800 (downsampled) so I saw the SC Launcher icon on my desktop and thought "What the hell, why not?". The top images starts off at 1366x768, the next image goes up to 1080p, the next 1440p, and then finally 3200x1800.

So, here you go. Preset low (With a custom User.cfg) rendered on a:

  • ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870

  • i7 720qm

As I've been progressing through, gaining more villagers, and expanding my settlement, It got me thinking...

Exactly how will we manage settlements with 30+ villagers efficiently? The mechanics and UI seem to only be convenient for small villages, below 25 villagers.

For instance, I want to make a group of farmers target only some containers for storing food inside, instead of every container that allows food to be placed inside. Example: Farmer group A places food in crate containers 1, 2, and 3. Containers 4, 5, and 6 allow food to be placed in them, but I told the farmers from group A to only target 1, 2, and 3, even if 1, 2, and 3 are full. THEN I tell Farmer group B to target 4, 5, an

I've been wandering around as soon as the servers came back up, and I've been able to play at 1080p, 30fps (or more) with lowest, or mid-ish settings on an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870 1gb, i7 q720 1.6ghz, 6gb Ram.

I also noticed that while running at 2880x1620, it runs the same as it did at 1080p before the maintenance. It was unplayable before. Anyone else seeing a difference? Or was this the result of me poking around in the configs?

Edit: Yes, I'm running 2880x1620 on an HD 5870m
