Okay, so posts about Israel/Palestine are banned without new news. Cool, great, haven't seen people complain about that.

I asked at the time, in the thread, if I/P comments are similarly banned. The mod response was "probably". Well I'd like to make that a "definitely".

Why? Well there's been multiple cases, but there was a big one today: the "Ireland has a serious Russia problem [Caolan Robertson]" video thread. A 40-minute investigation into a chemical factory in Ireland supplying Russian aluminium smelters, which are being used to make weapons for Russia. The EU's sanctioned aluminium, but not alumina, which is the main ingredient. And it's not a minor video - the journalist is th

Nobody mentioned it. This is a totally out-of-the-blue topic. But that's a problem in itself. And it's pride month, so I'm going to talk about it.

Joint taxes. The policy many (but not all) countries have of letting married couples file their taxes together, putting them in a tax bracket that's the average of their incomes. This means that, so long as their incomes aren't already in the same tax bracket, a couple filing jointly pays less taxes than a couple filing independently.

I hate this law. I despise it. And I struggle to get other people to see it the same way.

See, the issue is that it's a tax break for married couples. Or, to put it another way, it's a tax increase for single pe

So I came across Hasan's response to the recent H3 lawsuit - Ethan Klein lost his copyright lawsuit. - and he said, to quote,

Sorry, gonna say it. This is Israel mindset. It's not shocking to me that his lawyer is a West Bank settler. It's not shocking to me that Ethan Klein loves Israel, because this is Israeli mindset!

Just... straight-up disparaging Israelis. Totally out of the blue. Just an excuse to disparage an entire nationality.

Unacceptable, right? Or, I think so. But there's lots of people that disagree. A lot. So there's two things I'm thinking about here.

1: How bad is discrimination based on nationality? Personally, I see it

As the title says, I'm staying in southern Italy (in a village in the Reggio Calabria metropolitan area), for only one month. I use the internet quite a lot (150GB a month), but this apartment I'll be staying in doesn't have WiFi.

I'm presuming my best option is to get an Italian sim card with internet, and connecting my phone to my PC. In which case, what's the best provider/bundle to get? It looks like WindTre is the cheapest (€10), but is that actually the best?

...I guess this isn't the normal kind of questions you get here.

Hey all,
Okay, so I'm living in Southern Italy, and I have for the last 6 months. In between jobs (doing a career change). I'm a computer programmer in Europe, so when I get a job - in hopefully two months - I'll be presumably living someplace expensive.
I've had teeth decay pretty badly for a few... years now, and it's finally time I get proper dentures. As of last week, I only have 1.5 molars on the bottom row that can chew, and it's not comfortable.
The price the local dentist is quoting me is €5,000 for All-on-6, Zirconia teeth. That price includes everything, including temporary teeth.
Slight complication is that I'm moving country in 9 days (My flight is on the 31st, I'm alread

I've heard that said a lot. That you want a regen healer, because two barrier healers can't keep up the healing in prog because of how many mistakes people make - at least, without resorting to GCDs. But... is that actually true in Dawntrail, or is it people just assuming it is because they've heard other people say it is?

Because I've been playing SCH for a good while now, and whenever I look at the stats, it doesn't look like there's a large gap between how much actual (as in, non-mitigation) healing is done, while it's rare to reach the point that I run out of oGCD healing. And meanwhile, the mitigation is exceptionally beneficial. And in the few times I've played with a fellow SGE, it

I'm not kidding. A ridiculous amount of issues that people ping Dating for could be solved if the person wasn't unnecessarily silent.

I mean, the automod response wouldn't be taken seriously. I'm not saying it would. But it would spark a lot more jokes than the current... response:

Just /s^(/s)^^(/s)^^^(/s) be /s^(/s)^^(/s)^^^(/s) yourself /s^(/s)^^(/s)^^^(/s). That's my request. The mods should have a good day.

People are always asking for things that they want. But what about what you mods want? So I'm requesting that you have an enjoyable day!

We should have gender flairs. I mean, other than just Non-Binary.

For some people, being called the wrong pronoun hurts. The best they can do if they want that to stop is to use a trans flair, but... they shouldn't have to publicly identify as trans just to get people to use she/her pronouns. Why not just have a regular flair?

Is it because "There's no reason for someone to tell people they're a woman online, that'd just cause drama and harassment"? That's certainly what people of ye olde internet thought. But we know now that that wasn't right, and gender euphoria is a real thing.

....With a disclaimer here of that I don't know how many would actually use one. It's something that *sounds

...Because I don't know what the line for this sub is. Like, the policy of this sub in the past has always been a blanket "No justifying war crimes (with exceptions)". But I'm seeing a lot of people now justifying war crimes, and not getting deleted, and I don't know what's an appropriate exception anymore. Other people don't know what's an appropriate exception anymore. Even if you delete posts, because you delete them silently, it's not apparent what's rule-breaking at all.

Like, here's an example: take this comment chain. There's a lot of what I personally would consider rule-breaking.
