I'm a writer, and I've gotten this from people (primarily who aren't the minorities in question) who complain whenever I include a character with a character who isn't a white, straight, cis man as the protagonist. Says who, you? Who made you the king of what people can and can't write about? I'm pretty liberal myself, but this mindset of "you have to be X to write about a character who is X" is just stupid.

Anyway, I am currently working on my first novel, a modern gothic mystery/horror about a trio of teens, consisting of the captain of the school football team, Ella, and her girlfriend and best friend, uncovering the mystery of a 700-year-old vampire who has come to the city and lusts after Ella, which is meant to be a metaphor for how some particularly unsavory men fetishize lesbians, as he wants to break her. She gets the upper hand on him in the end when she tricks him into staying up past his bedtime and causes him to burn to death in the sun (so both members of th
Often people, when arguing with Christians, try to make it out like the Bible is more tolerant than it really is and they are just reading it wrong, or a passage was mistranslated. A big example of this is saying that the Bible is perfectly fine with lesbians, and only condemns gay men. Even if it mattered what the Bible said (we're not Christians, why should we give a shit?), both the Bible itself and various Christians theologians have been just as against female homosexuality as male homosexuality:
Romans 1:26-27: “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. **Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones
Is when people try to use the Bible to argue against Christians and make it seem like the Bible is more accepting than it really is. Two big examples, both related to gay people:
"Leviticus condemns pedophilia." No it doesn't. There is no evidence this is the case, and in fact the standards of the time in how child marriage was viewed as a ok is the best evidence against this. Not to mention how even if that were the case that that is what it condemned, it still says to stone both, so you would be killing both the pedo and the victim.
"The Bible is fine with lesbians." Also incorrect. Romans 1:26: ^(")Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natura

I'm 19, and for the past six months or so, I have kind of had a feeling of wanting to be trans (posted about this prior). Well, recently I have been feeling kind of uncomfortable with my body. Like my legs feel sort of weird, I feel like I should have breasts, and I have felt sort of jealous of girls I see, if that makes sense. Don't know if those things are common for those who eventually realize they are trans, but they are things I have been feeling recently for the past few days, and have felt them before kind of on and off even prior to these past few days.
