Ok so for years I've wanted a motorcycle but I've been terrible with my $. Over the past 7-8 months I've been doing much better (relationshits make me more responsible). And I now have enough to purchase said bike. After in finish my MSF course this weekend and get a new helmet because growing out my hair has cause complications. But I digress.

I have about 4.5k saved but I'm really loathe to spend it all. However I'm really impatient since I've wanted to get the bike for years. So I was wondering if there's a way I could go about it differently. Like getting a personal loan for about the same amount and paying it off over time (could also help credit. Low-mid 500s and climbing...kinda).

Credit score is 517 and I'm trying to get it to 600 so I can get a secured credit card and start building credit. I know that once I get it I should use it like a debit card and pay in full every month (long time lurker).

Ok so this is in Georgia. She works for a franchise and they usually put out schedules for the next week on Thursday. Someone was flying out to Europe and pushed their schedule ahead because of Irma.

This is where I think it gets very petty. She gets scheduled for morning shift (usually strictly night shift) on Friday after they make last minute changes. She's upset because the manager asked her to work mornings and then immediately said thanks without even hearing her response.
