My roommate's workplace has been clearing out its old stuff for a venue change, so he was able to net me an old computer to start my build. To my surprise it's actually in fine working order, and I'm wondering if I might be able to just stretch its capabilities and have something worthwhile for £100-ish. Pics:

So working with this saves me on motherboard, case, 260Gb hard drive, and operating system. It's a Dell Vostro 260, the model with the Pentium G620 socket LGA 1155 and two 1GB DDR3 PC3 10600U ram sticks. I have no idea what the motherboard is or whether this will torpedo my efforts. So! I've bought a new vita slim 3.15, I've read FAQs and things surrounding hacking the thing, but I'm still not sure how to proceed. I have an original Vita 3.63, and many games I've bought or received through PSplus. I'm hoping to keep as much of that as possible, in particular my save files, before selling on the old psvita. I have the one 8gb memory card between the two. So!

. Will my memory card need formatting . Can the memory card accidentally update the slim past 3.60 . Can I transfer my downloaded games any way . What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow

Cheers for the help guys, this is a great community

I think there's a few people out there who would agree with me that it's more important to make a point, and they might appreciate having something to look up when they see a particular billboard.

Maybe some enterprising young fellow out there could see this post and make sure that if someone were to go to thebestbookintheuniverse.com they would find out that they missed an episode.

So, I've been reading bits and pieces on this sub all day, trying things out on PCPP, and I think I've got an idea of what I'm after. I'm looking to put together my first home build, aiming to be able to play all those humble bundle games I've been picking up and hopefully some more recent games like Fallout 4 and ARK.

The idea is to buy most of the system one month, and the rest the next month, so I'm looking at surviving off onboard graphics for a little while. I also want to leave open the option of trading up a few of the parts later on if I have the money. On that basis I picked the i3; its onboard graphics should do me for a little while just playing things like mini metro and half l
