For the first time in a while I don't have a solid idea on what I should be playing this season and would like some deck recommendations. Already playing Selfwound and Renfri Coen Hyperthin to 2500 so I would prefer other factions. Was playing traps for a bit too but I find the deck to be too inconsistent for my liking. Any input is appreciated.
Just wanted to share the pile that got me to 2500. GN Selfwound pointslam.
playgwent.com/en/decks/7be7dc2f336fab873a89b5...I played for a few hours when the game was released years ago but wasn't entirely done with other online TCGs at the time so I dropped it. I've been playing commander/draft locally and with friends for a bit now but wanted to get into MTGA. I am a bit lost at the moment.
- Where can I play draft? I have access to Spark Ranked, Jump In, Color Challenge(completed), and Starter Deck Duel(completed). Do I need to win more games to unlock it?
- I was playing ranked with the mono green starter deck "Large and in Charge" and won a few games. I typically enjoy the ramp play style so I began to edit the deck to remove low-cost filler a
There is nothing that barb does now that fighter cannot do better. They're faster, have access to ranged weapons, in combat self heal and access to better 1h weapons. To make matters worse barbs have no chance of catching up to casters wearing occultist boots now. I understand wanting to slow the game down and tone down weapon damage, but it was all barb had.
Basically title. Returning to the game after 4 years and recently reached pro rank with Golden Nekker Relects and Dorfs. Maybe it’s because i’ve become accustomed to point slam but i simply can’t figure out why i’m being told selfwound is the best skellige deck. I don’t think i’ve played a game without melusine being countered. I’ve also tried a rain list and encountered the same issues as well as the issue of having to constantly go down on cards to win a round. Looking for advice/deck lists that might help.
Returning to the game after 3 years or so and i have no idea how this system is supposed to work. Is mmr capped at a certain amount but your rank isnt? Do i gain less mmr because i was away for so long? Am i forced to play other factions to gain mmr? There are guys with 15 more wins but 60 more losses than me that are at the top of the global ranks?
Seen a video or two of the game so far and was wondering if there are any playstyles/builds similar to the Witch Doctor(doesn't matter the gear set just love the guy) so that I can map my first character efficiently. Thanks
I'll preface this by saying that I play a game or two of casual after 2-3 losses in a row in ranked to prevent tilt and to try out fun techs. Today after a particularly tilting chain of losses I jumped into casual only to be greeted by 8 dagons, 5 spies and one guy playing a meme ST list, that's not an exaggeration either after the 3rd dagon I started to count. I play against more variety at 4500 than that. I really enjoy the competitive nature of this game, but it feels like the only place to play interesting decks anymore is Pro Ladder and that just feels wrong. I mostly typed this out to vent a little but I also want to see if others feel this kind of weird frustration towards the game.
