I'm working on getting back into the hobby for a few upcoming projects, and I'm planning on dusting off my Creality CR-10S and bringing it up to par again. I got it back in 2018 or so, stock firmware, only a few modifications like a different print bed and some braces.

Those of you with CR-10S: What do you recommend these days for necessary / recommended changes? I've already got my eye on the following:

• Firmware Update (any advice here is useful as to methods / versions)
• Enclosure (for better temp regulation)
• Spring Steel Print Bed (because I have Prusa envy)

It's been a while since I've tinkered with it, so any tips help! Planning on sticking with PLA and PETG as filaments.

Based on the videos, I have come to understand the following:

• It will not be a siege; developers have stated it will be a standard 4 person quest.

• Previous High Rank weapons can be upgraded with parts obtained from the quest.

• The quest is to slay, not break horns.

However, I haven't found any information on certain details like if she will still drop weapons at Master Rank, or if they can only be farmed at High. There are still many weapons I wasn't able to get back in the day (and I certainly didn't sell any of them when Iceborne came out like an idiot >.>) and it'd be nice to know if I need to start farming base versions now or not.

I find myself in between a rock and a hard place, thought I'd check in here to see what's up.

I've been using a Corsair Commander Mini for a long time in my larger builds, and I've recently adopted it for a new ITX build in a Lian Li TU-150 with a Ryzen 3700X as the CPU. It's been fine enough, but there's some issues with tying fan control to CPU temperature

• It's my understanding that Link (what I used to use with my old H100i when it worked) is effectively EoL and won't be receiving an update that allows it to play nice with Ryzen 3000 systems. That's fine, it's older software and wasn't going to be around forever.

Our hunting crew doesn't seem to be able to see or view event quests, nor do any of the festival decorations show. Any time we attempt to post or join a quest we get hit with the 400-MW1 error. One friend didn't have the issue until they restarted.

Anyone else having this issue?

Just wondering where you guys get your info for things like Bowgun ammo and Hunting Horn songs. In previous generations, Kiranico would be my go to, but the info isn't there yet for Iceborne, and I was looking for a resource I can use while at work in my spare time.

EDIT: Apparently, the Monster Hunter Wiki (not the Fextralife one) has ammo types and song lists for everything I've looked at so far. Here's the Hunting Horn tree, for example.

I'd stopped checking it after it stagnated before the PC release (don't even remember if it got as far as Lunastra equipment) and nothing really filled the gap. Imagine my surprise when I checked it on a whim today and saw that it's sporting a redesign (which is looking pretty good) and has slots reserved for Master Rank equipment. No listings in there yet, but the game's not even a week old yet, so I'm not surprised.

Not sure if the main guy behind it ever gets on here, but just in case, I'm really liking the effort so far! The page was crucial during my time in 4U and Gen, so it's nice to see it potentially getting some love again.

Galar is a region based off of Great Britain, so why was Kiss (an American rock band) used instead of something more iconic to the region's roots?

David Bowie circa 1971-73 would have been a perfect match, in my opinion. Bowie wore all kinds of crazy outfits back then that could have been adapted into a Pokemon design just as easily. For instance, imagine a Zigzagoon in vibrant colors, with a zigzag going over his right eye. For god's sake, the character Bowie played on stage at that point was called Ziggy Stardust! Ziggy! Zigzags! It practically writes itself!

I've been going over and over the Job Actions video for a while now, thought I would share my analysis of the video for WAR's actions that were shown.

Video Analysis

• The video starts with Infuriate, with nothing changed. Same visual and audio effect, +50 Beast Gauge. E1: The gauge here is changed, as Deliverance has been removed (confirmed on Live Letter by Yoshi-P). The gauge is now plain when not in Tank stance, and gains the same Red spikes it had before when in Defiance.

• An ability that looks like a touched up Inner Beast is used, outside of Tank stance, as if to show that the ability is no longer tied to Tank stance. Beast Gauge falls to 0.

With the more we find out about the expansion, I find myself wondering if there will be any relation between the Pixies and our faithful Scholar companions.

Initially, there's a lot of parallels that can be drawn between them:

Both races share a similar profile, being diminutive, winged creatures.

The Queen of the Pixies is Titania, who is also known as the Queen of the Fairies in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The Pixies are noted to have a proficiency with magic, like our Fairies.

However, there are differences, too.

I pondered this some time ago, but I haven't seen much discussion on it. With the upcoming merge of MP and TP, some of these abilities are going to need to change.

Will Mana Shift be beneficial to all jobs now, with MP being the only resource? For instance, can a BLM on Ice phase throw MP at a MNK that's almost out of resources to AoE?

Will MCH and BRD have a different ability to replace Tactician or Refresh, or will they have two separate cooldowns to regenerate resource?

I assume abilities like Goad, Invigorate, and Equilibrium (Deliverance) will be retooled to give MP (or whatever they call the new resource) instead of TP, but I suppose its possible they change these as well some way.

So, MH3 / 3U had underwater combat. 95% of the community hated it. It was swiftly and surely buried in the backyard when 4U introduced its own version of verticality to combat through mounting and mounting attacks. As such, a vast majority of monsters have gone unused since, limiting our viable pool of beasties to hunt.
