Yeah I know the blocking is also really good and important, but the yards after contact, refusal to give up, and the bouncing around and being patient looking for a running lane is just amazing.

I've got a Deutz TD2.9 in a horizontal directional drill that's very intermittently (like once a week) throwing a code for a shorted injector. Turning it off and on again clears it out. Performance is fine, but it does occasionally sound like it "misses" especially at low engine speed/idle.

All the wiring between the ECU and injector actuators look OK. Anything else anyone can think of that I should check before I just let the dealer take a look at it? It can be tough to find a time where their shop schedule and our job schedule align for that.

It's reasonably well known that big box store/home center conventional gas and electric water heaters are of somewhat inferior material and build quality as compared to their supply house counterparts. Anyone happen to have any experience with whether the heat pump models are, too?

Alright, I'm desperate. I need a Danfoss ETS 6-08 for a cool project. Nobody has them, and nobody around here can even get them for me.

Anyone know of a way to get one? I don't want to pay an arm and a leg, but maybe just an arm? Or a leg?

Putting aside the fact that most folks shopping Home Depot's website have no business attempting to install them, does anyone have a feel for the general hardware quality of the DIY-ish mini-splits sold on Home Depot's website? It's hard to deny that they're remarkably cheap for what they claim you get. I'd be curious how well they hold up with a competent install behind them.

What are peoples' opinions on Super Sil Flo vs. Sil-Fos (15% Silver, etc.) for brazing in modern HVAC/R applications? Both seem to have reasonable finished joint properties on paper. I've only used Super Sil Flo and found it okay...wondering if I should pick up a pack of real Sil Fos and give it some practice...
