Over the past week, this subreddit participated with thousands of other subreddits in blacking out in protest of Reddit’s new API pricing announcement.

Many of you likely have questions, and as such, we’ve prepared this post as a means of addressing questions and concerns we’ve seen in modmail and elsewhere on the site over the past week.

#What was this all about?

#What's going on?

A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.

The Steam servers have been spontaneously up & down for the last 24~ hours. Rolling disconnects, invisible ranks, long queues and generally anomalous behaviour is to be expected.

The cause of the issue isn't known as of yet, and there's no estimated time for a fix. All we can do right now is wait.

We will update this post as information becomes available.

It's a dirt cheap game that's been sitting in my inventory forever; I believe I picked it up from a humble bundle eons ago.

Obligatory "happened a while ago".

I've been a funmod/casual pubstar for since ever (and such), but I'm specifically keen on surfing. Been surfing since 1.5~, I call myself good but there's still people that shit on my times; same as regular cs.

Anyway, here I am just jamming to some surf, helping people, shooting the shit, having a good time. Later on r/GlobalOffensive is having a recruitment wave, so I figure wth throw in an app. Nothing comes out of it, time goes on and they ask if I'm still interested. These are all the missions I've done so far. I'm looking for help finishing the two 1-star missions and whatever else you're down for. Replaying missions for score is also an interest.

NA/EU please. I've tried doing missions with people farther away and it's not worth putting up with 250+ ping on either end.

Thanks to u/nuggetlol helping me fix GeDoSaTo with a remarkably simple fix, I want to pay it forward to anyone else stuck in my boat: want to screenshot my farm but can't.

There's a handy guide for setting up GeDoSaTo. Basically, it supersizes the resolution of the game and then downscales it so it fits on your screen. ...just make sure zoom is 100% lol.

If anyone wants a screenshot of their farm, just upload the save (mega, mediafire, dropbox, whatevs) and I'll rifle off a screenshot for you.

If you cast into bubbles (just above the cursor), it seems you have a noticeably decreased delay in the bite.

Nothing here is confirmed to be implemented in the future in any way or guaranteed to be accurate; it could merely be deprecated code that "isn't broken, so wasn't fixed" or simply misread by me. A Wand that teleports you to your farm. Fun fact: the original Totem Warp used the sound byte from the Wand:

You don't have to click on it. Even though there's no hand/action context cursor, you can right click anywhere on screen to open a gate you're in proximity of.

Gates are neat.
