I got dental work done. It was a deep cleaning or something like that, for gingivitis.

My insurance (Guardian) denied it, based on that there wasn't enough evidence that it was needed for the health of my gums. I called the provider and they appealed it (twice apparently) and it was denied both times for the same reason. The provider billing rep (a new one since they got bought out) basically said "welp, I guess you gotta pay it," as if $400+ more is just a drop in the bucket.

Is there anything I can do here? Is this why people ignore medical debt? lol

Hey all! Has anybody had any experience living (in a house) on 11th street?

I'm house shopping and there are some good deals there. But I'm wondering about the following:

1. How is the experience being so close to the Chatt Kitchen? Not to be NIMBY, but do you ever experience problems with homeless folk-- like annoying tresspasses or unfortunate sights?

2. How is the walkability? Google maps keeps routing through the Pilgrims Pride entrance to the trainyard to get to Station Street. I can't imagine that's a legal route. Also, safety in walking is important.

Hey all! I am a console-turned-PC gamer who has very low expectations lol.

I have a 2060 6gb GPU and it's been fine for my 1080p gaming, using DLSS when needed; but even with that, it's still only getting like 45 fps in Oblivion Remastered on high, which was usable but shows that I really need to start looking for an upgrade. I mostly play PS3-era games and indie games like Rimworld, so I haven't really noticed the 2060 lagging behind in performance until now.

Here's the question-- Should I grab a EVGA RTX 3070 on FB Marketplace for $260? Seller says it was used for gaming only.

My current lowly peon specs:

My puppy gets sick on roads up and down the mountains. Hopefully she’ll grow out of it. What’s a 1-2 mile (ish) hike that starts at more at the foot of a mountain?

Ever since I first equipped the gun, the electrical hum sound has never gone away. Even when I unequip, switch to a different weapon, or even quit & uninstall the mod entirely.

IT NEVER STOPS HELP

The sound loop does restart whenever the weapon is equipped though. So it's definitely related.

Hola! Anybody have any experiance with the GoCart downtown shuttle? Is it really free? Are tips expected? I can't find any additional info or website for them.

I am incredibly interested in using one of the many amazing world saves on there on the interwebs... but most of them assume you own ALL the DLC (or some out there assume you own none, in order to avoid the issues below-- I am not interested in those ones, as they miss the point of what I am looking for in a world save).

I'm fine with some missing items in lots. But what I can't stand are the missing CAS items resulting in bald and/or unclothed sims. It is truly just too big of a hassle to go through the hundreds of families in a save, go through each individual person's multiple individual outfits, and fix any missing stuff.

This old lady called my work to try to surrender a German Shepard before she "puts him down." The dog underwent anesthesia for a neuter and bit the husband the next day. She thinks it's too aggressive and will put it down to keep her grandchild safe.

We can't accept it (we are not a shelter), and she has given up on using local resources such as McKamey Animal Shelter... I'd hate to see such a nice dog get put down because an old couple was irresponsible.

Anybody on here that can take it in? At least hold it for long enough that it can be properly surrendered? Or even better, keep it! The dog is 3yo, has shots & papers (purebred), and is microchipped. Obviously comes from a working
