Saw a healthy looking female walking through RH parking lot at around 4:15 in the afternoon. Surprised her when we rounded the corner with our Newfoundlands. She flattened her eyes and walked swiftly up toward 3rd st toward Potrero. Pretty bold but people with small dogs should be careful with having dogs off leash in that area.

52F SW 238, CW 154, GW 145. I have always had Newfoundland dogs. I took my baby dog to the vet for his check up and he was weighed...and then it hit me. I'm 10lbs from my goal weight and my little man weighs more than me. πŸ˜ƒ

Weird question .

Side Effects

52F SW 238 CW 168 GW 145 Has anyone been on a dose that they felt did nothing? I did great on every dose, until 10. I've been on 10 for 3 months and have lost almost nothing. Wvery other dose I lost about 2 lbs per week. I haven't changed anything and I'm getting close to my goal. My doctor just moved me up to 12.5 and I'm hopeful.

Well we did win our case. The associate was better the second and third week, I think the partner spoke to him. I never said anything except to a friend (associate) at the office. Of course when we won, the aaaociate told me how valuable I was as I had the most trial experience on the team. ( I had to show them how I make a polling chart). When I returned to the office a senior and most senior female partner (and friend) called me into her office. The associate had told her supervising partner, a woman, who told the senior. Apparently, said male associate had also done this attitude to not only the junior female partner but the senior partner. So she kicked him off her team. She said she wil

I'm currently in trial with a partner and new associate (new to the firm and youngish). I've been at the firm 17 years and love where I work and have hot-seated that same number of trials. I'm the senior paralegal and am relied on heavily not only for my skills in trial but for my legal accumen and understanding of law. The partner in this case regularly seeks my counsel and input and I believe he does value my opinion. The associate will cut me off or dismiss my comments. He clearly sees me as a secretary in a suit. I'm not used to this at all, I've always been treated as a valued and equal member of every trial team.

I was dismissed so much during the first week of trial that I just stop

I see so many posts about bad attorneys, and horrible workplaces. Sometimes you get lucky. I've been at my firm for 17 years. Today reminded me why I stay. At 1:30 we were waiting for a tentative on an MSJ for a case that no one wanted to go to trial on. The founding partner has an arbitration the same day, the first year associate is just scared and I had another trial set with another partner. MSJ was granted and all us had a dance party in the partner's office. Just for a few minutes, but it reminded me how lucky I am to work in this firm. It's great when you are one of the team and the team is awesome.

But my arms are not. I do Pilates 5-6 days a week. I work core, legs, arms, shoulders...everything. I also walk 2-3 miles per day. Anyone have recommendations or thoughts?

Best friend was having a flirty flirty text exchange with a dude she met. I suspect he's married, but he ghosted her. He doesn't read or respond to messages, I think she should just forget him but she wants to have the "last word". I said don't bother. Thoughts?

Getting up today early to go do one of my hobbies on a day off. I decided to try my pre- COVID skinny jeans. They aren't skinny anymore. There loose. I want to shout but it's 5:45 am. I'm just dying. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Just a little boost

Had to post it, since my two male colleagues don’t know about my journey and likely don’t care. But I posted recently for advice for eating while working out of town. This morning I got dressed for the second day of my fourth week of trial and the suit I’m wearing I last wore 2 weeks ago. It was tight 2 weeks ago. Today, it is loose. Not quite swimming in it, but I may only get a few more wears out of it before the pants won’t stay up. Just so excited. I haven’t seen the scale move much lately, but this makes me feel so good! Thanks for listening.
