I keep seeing the minimum of 6 rule for every fish that likes to shoal.

Where did this number come from?

And is 6 really enough?

Dual wielding SMGs with old Bulletstorm (1+ shots for pistols and SMGs, 1 ammo consumed per shot) was one of my favourite builds.

I went in to the run hoping to go Bulletstorm, but didn't take any points until almost level 6 when I got a JAC from Mimir Habitat, at which point I went Arm -> Arm to feed the JAC. In Chaos Biolabs I grabbed a 7.62 SMG and banked points after SoG2 to get Gunslinger 3. This was easier than usual due to finding an exotic headpiece with +20% experience.

I found ravager's claw in Containment Area, which reduces base damage by 50% but makes each bullet deal 25 splash (I assume slash

Playing on console and I’m noticing some significant differences vs pc.

Big two are:

  1. Enemies seem to be fewer but more tanky.
  2. Not being able to target easily.
  3. Things that I found clunky on pc (e.g. zombie bears) are super clunky on console.

I’ve been getting some guidance from internet, but have found some changes to builds seem to make them perform better for me.

Are there any resources with specific console tips?

Also, are there any good resources for developing your own build/theorycraft?

Japan is my favorite nation to play, but after playing some other nations and getting severe focus tree envy I started modding Japan a bit.

I also always see Japan come up in discussions on what nations need updates, but rarely any suggestions on what they should get.

What changes would you make to Japan?

Are these damage bonuses (e.g. "damage_vs_country_type_drone_mult") hardcoded somewhere, are they defined somewhere, or are they useable with any country type defined in 00_country_types.txt?

Could I do "damage_vs_country_type_tiyanki_mult"?

Thanks.

Hi,

I've just started playing, so brand new to this.

I've currently got a level 18 Runemaster. Most of my points are in mastery and the rune weapon tree. I have a few other skills at 1 point, and 6 unspent points. I've been going heavily into Int.

I'm really struggling to pick a 2nd mastery.

Warfare looks great, bringing a bunch of damage and decent defense.

Defense looks great, bringing a bunch of defense and decent damage.

Nature, Sprit, and Dream are also really appealing to me. They all have a handful of really good looking skills (particularly their passives/sustains).

I'm largely avoiding targeted active abilities as I'm finding it difficult to use them well on mobile.

Any advi

teamfortresstv streamed Dunk Masters vs Rat Jail today.

But I haven't found anything for 100 Beats vs Strolling Astronomers or Mad Luxurious vs Highfive Demoman.

I would really like to watch if anyone gave it a Shoutcast.

I did some testing for a recent thread on whether weapon mounts target individually or together.

Some of it is pretty common knowledge (plasma like to shoot things with no shields), but some of it I found surprising and goes against what I've seen other people say.

TL;DR

All mounts, including Strike Craft and Torpedoes, other than XL appear to fire upon the same target unless that target is out of range of the mount, in which case the lower range mount will select a separate target based on the targeting preference of the rest of the ship.
