Hey all! I was diagnosed with PTC in 2022 and did 2 rounds of RAI (100 mci) after a total thyroidectomy. My thyroglobulin has also been kinda high (18-20) but they said it’s not concerning but now it’s trending upwards. My oncologist says we should do another round of RAI. Has anyone experienced this and was it a resurgence or was it just your body doing something random? My oncologist is lowkey terrible at explaining things so I’m feeling worried!! Thanks folks:)

Hi folks! Has anyone ever requested a second opinion from another oncologist? If so, what was the process like? Where did you go and how long did you wait?

I was told that if I want a second opinion it would be through referral and essentially, I’d be put to the back of the line despite actively receiving treatment at the Cross. I don’t want to wait but I also want a second opinion lol

Would love to hear anyone’s experience if you’ve done this before!! Thanks:)

Hey all! I’m running the 44th Yamanichi YBS Fuji Yoshida Fire Festival Road Race on August 23 and I’m a bit worried about getting to Mt. Fuji GX Stadium for check in. I’m planning to arrive for check in at 8am but buses don’t run this early. Im staying at Hostel Saruya for reference but accommodation can be changed.

A few questions:

- How is the taxi service in this area?

- Should we hire a car ahead of time?

- Is anyone else running this half marathon? Would love to connect!:)

Hi all! I’m looking for a Mandarin tutor here in Edmonton to learn Mandarin, especially reading and writing. I would say I’m quite beginner but I do know Cantonese so that could be helpful!

Any leads would be appreciated!:)

some context: my parents have been dealing with their neighbours leaving their dogs outside all times of the day for the past 2 years. they bark and cry to be let inside constantly, especially at night. the yard is a mess and there is dog poop everywhere. i don’t see any food left out and there’s one dog house for 2 medium dogs.

i’ve already filed a complaint re: noise complaint and things stopped for a bit but dogs are out there again. the real issue now is that the dogs have destroyed the siding of my parents house and are getting underneath the house (it’s a trailer home house that doesn’t have a foundation). they’re underneath my parents house and ripping things up.

Suing after Pet Loss?

Other Civil Matters

Location: Alberta, Canada.

Hi all. My dog was recently hit by a car while staying with a Rover sitter. Think of Rover like a Kijiji for pet services like boarding, walks etc. I have since been reimbursed by Rover for the sitting fee and the cost of cremation. However, I am wondering if it's possible to sue the sitter for loss of property and emotional damages. I don't have the full story of how my dog got out, but in my mind, if I had paid her to take care of my dog, she failed to do so because he died. Would love to hear other people's thoughts/experiences with something like this!

Thanks!
