Today I found an Osprey London handbag in TKMaxx that I think is ideal for the office. It was only £45!
But now I’ve been looking online, apparently Osprey London bags are known to be sold in TKMaxx and it’s looked down on. Is this true? Be honest, because I’d rather buy another brand.
I'm going to Cappadocia next month and was looking for some advice on the hot air balloon rides. We land late Sunday evening, so I was thinking to book the ride for Tuesday as I know you are picked up very early in the morning - 4.30am. That means if it gets cancelled, we can try again Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Considering it's September, I'm hoping the weather will be ok and there will be no cancellations.
Regarding prices, I've looked at a few different companies and this is what I can find:
- Urgup - €240pp (28 passengers)
- Discovery - €280pp (28 passengers)
- Butterfly - €300pp (16 passengers)
I'm interested to know:
- Is it necessary to book online before arrival or should we
We are a couple (31 and 29) from UK looking to do a Caribbean cruise for my 30th birthday in Jan 2026. I've done so much research but I still don't know which company is best...
We don't have kids but we don't mind if there are young children on the ship. Looking to pay around £1500-£2000 pp for 10-14 days. I like the sound of a Southern Caribbean cruise, but open minded.
We've looked into TUI, Princess, P&O and Royal Caribbean so far. Princess cruises look good but Tripadvisor reviews are not great.
- How crucial is a room with balcony? Could we just get away with an ocean-view room? I think I'd prefer a window at least otherwise might feel a bit claustrophobic.
- Which part of the ship
I was diagnosed with PCOS in my early 20s, I'm 29 now and I think my symptoms are getting worse but it's hard to know exactly what's linked.
When I was diagnosed with PCOS, I was told it was mild as I'm not overweight and do not have excess hair growth. Also, I haven't taken contraception for over a decade as it really didn't work for me and I have never got pregnant. So this could indicate fertility issues?
Here are my symptoms:
- Extreme fatigue (all the time, but even worse the week before period)
- Irregular periods (average cycle is approx. 40-50 days, longest is 8 months with no period)
- Painful cramps during period
- Extremely painful/sore breasts 7-10 days before period
- Heavy p
I've been working for a company for just over 12 months and there's been a fair bit of change in that time.
A few roles in my department have been made redundant and the roles have not been replaced yet and as far as I know, will not be. They have hired new and different roles but not in the UK, so obviously it's cheaper. Another department have been moved to our parent company.
Our workload remains the same, if anything we're busier because there's less resource. We're often told how great the team are and the wider business are thankful for our contributions.
I've asked my manager directly if this is going to impact us and they said 100% no, it's already been discussed with leadership a
I'm 29(F), I've never had anything done to my face/body and I've never been overly insecure or conscious of my looks but social media has changed that 100%. I wear simple makeup, nothing too over the top and I prefer a natural, subtle look. I'm not against fillers, botox, surgery if it makes someone feel better about themselves but I am concerned how many people I know who have got addicted and look completely different.
I've never loved my side profile and I want to improve that, I thought either jaw or chin filler would help.
I've got chin filler (1ml) booked in one week with a nurse who does fillers in her spare time and I want to make sure I am sure before I go ahead.
From what I know
Has anyone tried MM removal?
If so...
- How did it go for you?
- Did it work?
- How many sessions did it take?
- Did you lose your hair?
- How long did it take to heal?
- How did it look straight after?
I had my eyebrows microbladed for the first time just over 2 weeks ago, but I'm not in love with them. I was never unhappy with my natural brows but I'm rubbish at doing them myself with makeup so I thought it would be easier to get semi-permanent makeup.
I've just had a consultation with another artist who is very experienced, she's done microblading for 15 years and has clients visiting her from all over the world.
Here are my options:
- Leave them as they are. (the artist told me because the strokes are so close together and I have oily skin, they will definitely blur/merge and become blocky in as little as 12 months - this is my worst fear).
- Remove the edges that I'm not happy wit
I was born with a crooked toe, inherited from my father and I’ve recently found out it’s clinodactyly which from what I can see is mainly in the fingers (I have it on my two little fingers but it’s minor).
Anyway, the toe has always bothered me to the point where I don’t get my feet out unless I’m at home. I don’t wear open-toe shoes and I’ve always felt conscious of it so I’d like to get it fixed. I’m based in the UK and because it doesn’t give me any issues, I doubt I’d get this on the NHS and privately it’s going to cost £4,000.
I don’t have any pain and it doesn’t really impact my life apart from mentally always so conscious of it.
Does anyone else have this in their toes? Have you
Ok don't hate me if all this music is mainstream but I'd like to know what type of genre I'm into, I don't really get the difference between EDM, house, techno etc I just like what I like.
Here's a few names in one of my Spotify playlists: Pawsa, Michael Bibi, Avicii, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Mr Belt & Wezol, FISHER, Chris Lake, Kimbra, Sante Sansone, MK, Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, Sammy Virji, Gorgon City, ESSEL, Todd Terry
What is my overall preferred genre?
Also, if anyone is based in London and can recommend GOOD events with this kind of music please do. Thanks!
