Note: this happened late August and I posted about it in High Strangeness as well but completely forgot to post it in my favorite sub, this one!! Also, this is a long post, I'm sorry. I just wanted to provide as much detail as I can.

My gf and I went on a hike on Little Cottonwood canyon in Utah, on the Grit Mill trail, which is very short. The trailhead is right next to the Mormon granite record vaults, which are both basically at the mouth of the canyon. Very close to civilization. Hey all, I know this might be a bit of a weirder post but I want to know if anyone else heard this last Saturday? (Aug 24th)
My gf and I were on a small hike (Grit Mill) in Little Cottonwood canyon on Saturday from around 7-8:30pm. Starting around 7:30(?) / about half an hour in on the hike, we started hearing weird screeching noises that we couldn't place.
It didn't sound natural, so we thought it was the echoes of people's brakes squealing, or people peeling out of parking lots, but it kept happening even during moments where no cars were passing on the road. We then figured it might be someone with a rocket powered RC car or something, or people doing donuts.

A few days ago,, my gf and I went on a hike on Little Cottonwood canyon in Utah. Everything seemed normal and we never felt strange or like we were being watched, etc. Everything was normal and chill. It was about 7pm when we started, so the sun was still up but sunset was about 2 hours away.
About half an hour in to the hike, we started hearing weird screeches. Some of them sounded like they could be a bobcat or mountain lion (or both in a fight or something?) but many of them did not.
Additionally, the trail was only a small loop, less than 2 miles total, and stayed within 500-600 yards (estimate) of the main road at all times and often was in sight of it, and we were on an exposed hi

Hi all. First time posting here. I saw a few posts about kids seeing some shadowy things and felt like talking about a few stories from about 20+ years ago.
I was 5 when we moved to a new house in June of 2000, and for the first several years, there were a variety of strange things that happened.
For the first few years, my mom would hear stuff constantly. Me, my sisters, and my dad (school teacher) would all be at school during the day, and my mom stayed home to tend the house and such. Almost daily, she would hear footsteps, doors being opened, etc.
I don't know how many times this happened, but I know at least once, she was in the shower around 10am when there was no chance of anyone
