I pre-ordered this game explicitly for some couch coop, as I have my pc hooked into my living room tv. This is a big letdown, and I hope there is a modder somewhere out there already working on a solution.
The horrible part is this is a feature on the console edition, it's only missing on the PC version.
Steam just added a 101.5 MB patch for RE5. We've known for awhile that RE5 was departing from GFWL and coming into Steamworks. I played the game after the patch downloaded but it still went through the normal GFWL login. I'm hoping maybe this is the lead-in to the transition, which means we're close if it is.
Sometime back in 2014 it was announced that Resident Evil 5 for the PC would make the move from Games For Windows Live to Steamworks sometime in early 2015 link. I keep reading people comment about how this could possibly enable the "Mercenaries Reunion" to finally make it to the PC version, whereas up until now it was a console exclusive.
As far as I am aware, Steamworks is just integration within the Steam community. Achievements, multiplayer connections, and a centralized modding hub. How exactly could this enable Mercenaries Reunion to make a pc comeback?
I'm getting the new 3ds XL when it's released, and I haven't had a portable gaming system since the DS Slim. That said, I've never in my life played a Pokemon game, but you can't walk 3 steps on the internet without reading about them.
For someone who has never played any of the Pokemon games, please give me a purchase list and a play order. Are there some that were just "meh"? Re-releases that made older versions obsolete? This appears to be a freaking huge, ongoing gaming franchise with no signs of stopping, so I'd like to hop on board.
My last Nintendo portable was the DS slim. I'm pulling the trigger on the new 3ds XL due to the overhaul this system has finally received. From what I can tell you can now purchase digital games for the 3ds on Nintendo.com, and redeem them on your 3ds.
Is there a place that sells "ecodes" for 3ds games in a similar fashion to say, GreenManGaming for Steam keys? I see Nintendo has been running sales but if it's possible I'd like to have a couple websites with competing prices.
Pulling from the idea of ENMs in FFXI, I'd like to see a farmable chance at loot that uses multiple leves at once for a key item. You would talk to an npc, and they would require a set amount of your leve allowance (and maybe some craftable item). In return you'd get a key item to enter a dungeon for a boss fight.
This would be set in tiers, and the highest tier would require a full 8-man party and maybe 50 leves per member. This would be a great way to see some older bosses in FFXI return if they wouldn't have a real place in FFXIV due to story, setting, etc.
