Bought an AUG (A3M2 in NATO config), took it to the range once and my LPVO came loose on the rail. No big deal, re-torqued it with loctite.
2nd range trip, and the optic is still tight on the rail, but the rail has now come loose. I see the three T30 screws to tighten it from inside the reciever (which are completely loose right now), but there's no torque spec listed in the manual or that I could find online. I have seen 40 in-lbs mentioned here and there for aftermarket rails. I assume 40 in-lbs + blue loctite would work, but i reallllllllyyyy don't want to strip the threads. Still waiting for a response from Steyr (think they were closed last week?), but I figured that I would pop

apnews.com/article/fluoride-water-utah-rfk-fl...So I have pulmonary sarcoidosis, stage 3. Over the last few years, I've been dealing with foot, ankle, and calf pain for a while that was diagnosed as tendonitis, but no bad tendon inflammation or granulomas found on ultrasound to relate it to sarcoidosis. I've basically been blown off by 2 sports med doctors who say it's just me getting older and I just need to realize there are things I can't do. I can understand that and have come to terms with my limitations, but it shouldn't be this bad for a "normal" person (35 y/o).
Now I'm wearing a wrist brace for issues in my dominant arm, wrist, hand, and elbow (pain, partial numbness). Ortho doc starts exam saying "I don't think it's carpal
Proposal to give Utah tenants more notice of rent increases fails in House committee
kutv.com/news/politics/utah-rental-market-hou...Had a fever all weekend, was just planning on waiting it out when I remembered I had some (old) rapid COVID tests. Showed positive immediately (and after the 15 min wait period). Got a PCR test to be sure, and yep, it's COVID.
Had a bivalent vaccine 3 weeks ago, so I probably couldn't have picked a better time to catch it, but it's still not fun.
So far it's just a bad cold with a persistent fever. No additional shortness of breath issues so far. Waiting to hear back from my doctor about how long I should stay out of work and whether I should go get monoclonal antibody treatment. Being immunocompromised, the result letter stated I should isolate for 20 days, which seems a bit much tbh.
Central Ohio hosts two of America’s top 25 kids in USA Mullet Championships
10tv.com/article/news/local/central-ohio-host...Holy crap, I just took my 3rd dose yesterday (up to 7.5mg/wk now, aiming for 10-15mg/wk) and feel like absolute crap, ready to puke my guts out. Took some Zofran which is keeping the edge off it, but my god is this uncomfortable. Hopefully it works (and doesn't take my hair with it).
Just wanted to vent :)
