I just replaced the inner tube on the back tire, and I think that somewhere in the process I messed up the chain.

The front gears aren't changing at all, and on gear 8 (the highest gear) the rear derailed is so folded that the chain rubs against itself.

I'm doing speed work, and I'd like to set up my phone to beep at me if I drop below 8 mph.

I currently use sportstracker, but I'm not seeing anything that would work that way. Closest is the feedback at every lap, but that's not really what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know if I'm just missing it, or if there's another app that would do this?

It's a series of essays, by Grant Petersen. Amidst gallons of bullshit, like the notion that meat is healthier for people because you poop less (really), there's an essay called "If you can't jog yourself skinny, why are the worlds best runners skinny?"

You don't burn fat by running! Apparently, the best runners are skinny because people who are already skinny are more likely to start running.

He goes on to say that wait, actually, runners enter a state called gluconeogenesis, which causes you to burn everything EXCEPT fat for energy. Only the carbs you eat and muscles. Obviously This is why runners are, and I'm quoting him here, "emaciated".
