Hello everyone,

My daughter is an incoming freshman UCSC and will be staying in a double at Kresge College. Are the dorm photos/layouts online updated? Also, how are the rooming arrangements usually set up for incoming freshmen in the doubles?

What are some essentials you’d recommend she bring for the dorms? And how does the co-ed shower/bathroom situation work there? Any tips and advice. Please and Thank you!

For backstory: my ex bf from 16 years old - 18 years old.

When I was with him (the narcissist) he would romanticize and talk about d*ath. Like he fantasized about saving the world and being a hero, it was really weird. He started to lie and say he had dreams of things in my house and that it’s evil. He even started to say how, my street wasn’t even safe. All along while he was highly paranoid (mostly from living so many different lives).

He was very evil and would even go as far to say he gonna d*e soon like he “Just knew.” He would always say over and over again that he was joining the “Marines” like that was some way he would live out his weird hero savior white knight complex of “s

I’m over 40 and started GLP-1 medications about 4 years ago, beginning with Mounjaro. Around the time I turned 40, I started experiencing severe dizziness and vertigo. It became really concerning, so I stopped.

Later, I tried tirzepatide again for about a month and had significant vomiting. I’ve also tried semaglutide and switched between Mounjaro, semaglutide, and tirzepatide at different points. The last time I was on tirzepatide, I had extreme vomiting and vertigo and ended up hospitalized for two days.

I’ve seen multiple doctors, and they’ve told me there’s nothing medically wrong and that I could still use GLP-1s if needed. But after that experience, I’m honestly scared to try again.
