Hello! We are a family of 6 with three kids traveling from LAX to Cancun from Jan 6-9. Looking to stay under 5k with flights. Right now on Expedia there are: Ventus at Marina El Cid (~4k) Ventus Ha at Marina El Cid (4.4k) Hilton Cancun (4.8k) Gr Saloaris (5k) Wyndam Alltra (5.2k)

Are any resorts listed worth it for families? Ventus is the most affordable so that would be my preference. Any experience with them? Any other recommendations would be awesome too!

Last year, I (20f engineering student) shadowed an engineer as part of a program. Now, his company is hiring interns for Fall. Should I email him saying i’m applying? If yes, how should I email him— what should i say? He is pretty young (late 20s) and is a level 2 engineer. Thanks!
