UPenn or Brown for CS

Computer Sciences

Im grateful to have been admitted to UPenn CIS masters and Brown CS masters. I’m not sure which one to pick though. Didn’t get money for either, so I think tuition alone will be ~110k for UPenn and ~90k for Brown. Both are really great schools but it seems that UPenn has better research and overall ranking in CS. Is it worth dropping another 20k for this? I don’t care too much about the campus environment by the way, as long as I can learn and make friends.

Hi Redditors with more life experience,

I’m going to be graduating soon, but I’m planning on pursuing grad school so I won’t have the consistent income of a full time job. During my undergrad I probably made around 16k but I’ve spent basically all of it. I can definitely make it back through part time jobs, at the expense of my free time.

I was wondering how much you guys would recommend to save as a new graduate so I can have a number to aim for. Going for as much money as possible is mentally exhausting. Engagement and marriage are also plans for the near future so I need enough saved for that as well.

TLDR: graduating college student wants to know savings amount to aim for

I just bought some tickets and forgot to log into my account first. On the final booking page it says "Register to earn 12,600 miles and 126 Status Points for this booking and priority check-in 48 hours before flight departure," but I can't sign up because I already have an account and it says phone number already exists. How would I add these points to my actual account? I've already added the booking to my account but my points and miles haven't changed.

Hello, a friend of mine got a summer internship offer at electric boat around two months ago and filled out the paperwork + did drug test around a month and a half ago. They haven't been sent the EQIP yet though, does anyone have experience with this and know how much longer it should take?

When applying to South housing (non-honors), are people looking at end of the semester or currently achieved credits? I've been looking at other posts and they're saying 90 to 100? If it's 100 before spring semester ends I guess I won't get it. Also, for pulling people in, does their credit count matter? One of my friends has 46 credits as of now and he says he doesn't have enough to get pulled in, I thought I can pull anyone. Anyways, happy holidays everyone :)
