I've been getting a steady flow of ARP work units, but every day or so I notice I have no tasks running and it's because downloads of work units are timing out, and it often requires me to manually hit "retry download" multiple times across a few hours to a day to get everything downloaded. Zero other problems with my internet.

I don't know, I also see my stats aren't updating in WCG, so I'm left with a bunch of questions. Are my work units getting counted? More to the point, if it takes a day or two for an assigned work units to get downloaded to me, am I actually returning them on time? I'm left wondering if I'm actually contributing to anything other than a semi-headless operation at

I'm someone with PTSD who is considering moving to Georgia, and they are currently implementing a "low-THC oil" program by the end of this year (yes, I know they have been dragging their feet since 2015, but it seems to actually be happening). The oil is limited to no more than 5% THC with an equal or greater amount of CBD.

I have an old (early 2011) 13 inch MBP. It has a spinner platter drive, but I did upgrade it to 8 GB of RAM a while back. I want to give it to a family member to use, so when I went to use the disk utility to erase the drive, I realized you can't do that on snow leopard, and the update utility only gives me the latest build of snow leopard.

I figured out I have to download El Capitan from Apple and install that before upgrading any further/wiping the disk. So I downloaded it, installed it, it said "install successful" after about 15 mins, and then....nothing. The machine didn't restart, nothing changed, and when I rebooted it was still running Snow Leopard. What the hell? I'm out of ideas a
