To those that haven't been following the lovely reddit traditions of admins doing questionable things our sub has been private in protest of the admins' antagonistic and hostile behavior towards its userbase and mods in particular. Alas, we have finally received the "open up or gtfo modmail"... So now without further ado, in the spirit of John Oliver we are now open in read only mode. To those who were expecting to argue with the bot (or about the definition of what a shadowban really is), we are sorry to disappoint.

I primarily need Archipelago, Icy Snow, Ocean, Sandstorm, Savanna, Sun, and Tundra though I'll accept anyone who doesn't mind that I usually can't gift every day.

I'm listed as the crime victim, (not plaintiff as that's the DA/ Commonwealth) and the paper they sent me does not explicitly say its a summons or that I need to be present. I do understand as a crime victim I have a right to know when things like this are going on and that doesn't necessarily mean I need to be at the summary trial.

I've tried calling the courthouse but I haven't gotten an actual answer outside of phone tree prompts. (I will try later today and hopefully get a human.)

Do I need to be there or is it likely the DA has enough as they wanted to charge the defendant anyway? If its relevant, the charges include harassment w/no legitimate purpose and damage to property.

Woowee. We've got the basic line up of about 13 of them that post on eachother's SPP posts, mostly in r/allcryptobets , r/cryptostreetbets, r/shitcoinmoonshots, r/cryptomooncalls, r/moonshotscrypto, and r/cryptocurrencytrading, and a nice handful of one-off comment users that span from noob to three months. Most have somewhat normal-ish comments inbetween waves of obvious spam. Some even comment in german.

Test me bb or not, you're a bot.

Edit: Finally got automod to play nice, but because of how its made, it can't "see" users that are shadowbanned, so its kind of how the old bots ran (before that one broke but we don't really talk about it) where if you got a message then you were in the cool club and if not then I'd come by (or some other helpless soul) to let you know that the admins hate you and give you some links to get back in their good graces.

I can't quite get it to check backlogs of comments so that sucks, but at least users have something. I don't want it to feel like I belong in r/choosingbeggers but if anyone wants to get a bot up and running similar to the old bots we'd appreciate it. Until then automod will

I've noticed a lot of threads popping up from users receiving appeal responses from AEO that lie about removing their ban.

If you receive a response from the AEO (Anti-Evils Organization) team saying:

Thanks for writing in and bringing this to our attention. It appears your account got caught by Reddit's spam filter. We have reviewed your account and lifted the restriction(s) on it.

This is an automated message; responses will not be received by Reddit admins

it was sent automatically and your appeal was not looked at and you're still shadowbanned.

The message "suspensions were removed" is more promising and usually includes be

Half of reddit bans and pre-bans the other half for just subbing or commenting (especially without looking at context). If you think your stuff is being pulled or just want to check out a new community go look at the sidebar and see if the moderator list is visible. Recent updates hide the moderator list from people who are banned though they're still visible if you use old reddit in incog/other browser you're not logged into with.

If you can see the list and the bot says its being pulled it can be due to not following their rules or just a hiccup with their moderating tools.

I also recommend using another site that doesn't allow shitty praxis like that. I prefer Ruqqus though I don't us
