Hello all!

I have a new desktop build with a 5080FE and a 9800x3d running on windows 11.

I have the latest GPU drivers from Nvidia and 32GB of RAM. Temps are all good all around.

Games run great, absolutely no problems with games. However, when I have a game running, all other windows that I have open drop frame rate significantly. Even when I alt-tab out of a game to another window, as long as the game is up and running, the frame rate is lower.

I haven't had an AMD processor in quite a while so I'm not sure if there's some tweaks that I may be missing. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Thanks!

Hello all!

I'm relatively new to mining and am switching from nicehash to flexpool as a dedicated eth pool. I am mining with a 3080 (~90mh) whenever i'm not gaming, and when I was on nicehash, I was making somewhere around $13-14 per 24hrs mining. However, now that I've switched to flexpool, I have about 24 hours of mining completed, and I only have about $7 dollars in unpaid eth.

Is this just a function of dedicated eth mining? larger eth payouts less often? I understand the reasons to not use nicehash for mining, but so far at least it was quite a bit more profitable for me.

Thanks!

Hey all! I'm new to printing and have been able to get a few good prints from my Ender3v2, but I have problems with bed adhesion. On the last print I started, fan speed is supposed to be 0 for the first 3 layers (this is what is set in cura), but I noticed that the fan starts up to 255 right at the beginning and stays there. Is there something I can look at in the gcode to make sure it's being coded properly? Has anyone else had this problem before? I know I could just turn the fan off, watch the print for the first few layers, then turn it back on, but I'd like it do handle it automatically.

Thanks!
