It's the primary tool of the troll. They don't reply to posts with any other intention that to make personal attacks that are referential fallacies and nothing more.

This is a general question, although there are highly specific instances, so let me give you an example: Do women really not know what swollen lips (fillers) with a slimey coating (gloss) looks like to a man? It couldn't be more obvious, but women walk around every day presenting themselves this way. I won't even mention Skims and transparency in fashion, because those are obvious concepts of sexualization. Where are we going with this? And, most importantly, why?
BTW, I'm the last person you'd ever consider a prude. I just think it's worth talking about.
This subreddit is often filled with artists' laments about how to make a living off of their art. I've often responded to these by asking them to consider the much wider aspects of creativity, because it provides a counterbalance to the systems and processes of our world. This includes the nature of the prophet. You want to know who the modern day prophets are? They will ALWAYS be found within the artistic community. This is historically accurate. Consider the Biblical prophet Jeremiah. He was a prolific writer and creator, and he had a 15-year ministry that led him throughout the land. They key here is that sensitive people are those who plead the cause of the poor and the afflicted to ever
I'm 77 and have suffered from this malady all my life and only learned of this trauma response recently. What it's done for me is to shine a light on my CSA and reveal the depth of how my mind was rewired at the age of 5. It's my nature to minimize what happened to me, but this has meant a more complete investigation. It's just stunning to me how such an event can completely fuck up your life. I'm retired and estranged from my family, largely over this. ONLY another limerent would possibly understand that I will go to my grave wanting that which I cannot have. What a friggin prison!
We all know this American version of the Royal Wedding, but many will get rich off of it. Who?
I retired from 45 years in television a few years ago. In my later years, I wrote a popular blog that spoke of the relationship between television and advertising. After watching The Traitors on Peacock and putting up with the relentless ads (along with a subscription fee), I've decided that younger viewers need a brief history in order to understand - and be warned - about the Peacock strategy.
All of streaming media is watching Peacock's advertising strategy, because they'd like to get into the game too. I predict that this will be the next chapter in streaming. These corporations simply cannot resist.
But, here's the real problem. Viewers of, for example, The Traitors may think, "It's o
Best reality show since The Circle. I thought it was VERY well produced, and the cast was just terrific. I believe Brian has opportunities now that even he doesn't know. Same with Tolu. I feel very satisfied with this show.
We hear people complain about Rap music lyrics these days, but did you ever spend any time listening to REALLY old stuff? Like 100 years ago. I got onto this after a session with YouTube. Here are ten titles that I listened to. The writers were kings of the double entendre:
It’s Hard To Say I Love You When You’re Sitting On My Face
I’m A Mighty Tight Woman
Please Warm My Wiener
You Can’t Tell The Difference After Dark
My Girl’s Pussy
Big Long Sliding Thing
It’s Tight Like That
It’s Not The Meat (It’s The Motion)
Let Me Play With Your Poodle
When Can I Have A Banana Again?
As a former news boss in the Huntsville Market, I'm astonished that the TV news departments in Huntsville don't report on the industry that made Huntsville famous (and I'm not talking about cotton). We're known as an engineering town, but local news is focused on "if it bleeds, it leads" philosophy. What's needed for somebody is a news franchise that focuses on the new space race. The story is HUGE, and now that Blue Origin is seriously in play with its BE-4 engines (made in Huntsville), there's really no excuse for ignoring happenings in space. There's video available of EVERY launch. How easy would it be to show these with commentary from local leaders. One city official that I know said t

NASA, United, or Rocket City? Many thanks. Cross posted to r/volleyball
Old guy here. Big fan of YouTube, but I'm increasingly frustrated that my subscriptions all seem to be opting for shorts. They take their normal videos and clip them into shorts, but here's my big gripe: these are then published as notifications, and I have to go through them in order to clear the notifications on that subscription. We need another form of notification for these shorts. Oh, they can be fun from time-to-time, but they produce a "false" notification that forces my hand. I don't like it.
