Budget:

My budget is $200 usd, but I'm willing to go up if there's a significant jump in quality. I live in the US, if that affects any choices.

After 1 year of working fine and stable, the laptop does not charge anymore. My power port, when plugged in, is loose. Question is, do I go to a laptop/PC repair shop, or should I return it to the manufacturer (warranty's done)? I don't know if the repair shop might have the parts to repair it. The laptop in question is the ASUS UX501VW-US71.

I'm getting a $100 dollar steam gift card, then I'm going to buy Skyrim + add-ons. I like RPGs and practically every game genre, except horror. I now have $60 to spend (1 day after the steam summer sale ended), so recommend some games that you think I should play!

Edit: I forgot that horror scares me too much for me to sleep...
