I live near the Lakewood Barber on Warren and Madison and saw the barber walking down the street wearing a “Rhodesia” t shirt. I knew the guy was MAGA, but don’t care about that. Wearing a Rhodesia t shirt is basically equivalent of wearing a sign that says “I am a white supremacist” - was shocked to see this in my neighborhood. Anyways, figured I would share this in case anyone goes there.

Through Amazon when will you receive it? I would like to get the book asap on September 23rd and have never preordered anything through Amazon. How does that work? Would I get it 24th or 25th?

I finished book 6 and cannot wait for book 7. I am a reader so audio isn’t an option and even though I thought about it I’m not dropping $400 on the paperback lol.

Would I be better off just stopping at Barnes and Noble on release day and picking my copy up that way?

I love Elly. He is so exciting, etc. With that said his k rate is not sustainable. If she continues at the k rate from last year and very early on this year he’s going to be a bust. Obviously we are 4 games into 2024 so throw the numbers out the window. With that said, just watching him, you can tell he is up there guessing. Watching him K on fastball right down the middle of the plate is wild. He is clearly guessing, and that is absolutely not going to play at mlb level. It seems to me the mlb scouting book has been out on him since August last year. He needs to adjust, and I’m beginning to worry he doesn’t have the ability to do so.

Resurrect Jon Snow? This doesn’t really align with the rest of the show/book series to me. Characters in this universe understand how fragile life is (probably because they are constantly confronted with losing loved ones) and as a result accept it, usually quickly. Davos barely knows Jon Snow. Why is he so obsessed with Jon and why is he so insistent on trying to bring him back to life? I love this show and the book series. We all know this has not happened in the book series (yet), so this is just a show thing, really. I can usually draw lines between everything but have trouble with this. I seriously feel like such a fool. I had been pessimistic about this organization for the years leading up to 2019 and they went out and actually tried. I bought in. This offseason they came out and said they were going to sign a SS. I believed it.

Now, it’s been proven I’m a fool that believed a bunch of cheap liars. I never was too down during the rebuilding years of 2015-2019. I certainly called for Dick’s head in 2019, which I still believe I was right about. But this is the lowest I have felt as a fan of this team. Trying and failing is one thing. Tanking to rebuild is another. Outright lying to the fanbase that was starting to buy in is something entirely different and much worse.

I live in Cleveland and as a result see an organization that is ran like they actually know what they are doing and don’t put their kids in charge of operations. I can’t quit the reds, but I feel like if they were contracted or moved to another city I could actually move on and it would be such a relief.

1.) I understand Senzel got hurt after the team flew to ATL and he was sent down, but seeing Kyle Farmer not belong on a big league field is making me sad panda.

2.) I am about done watching Lorenzen not be good at pitching. He doesn’t strike people out. He’s just not good. I truly don’t care that he can hit a a home run once a month or whatever.

3.) Bell is over-managing like crazy and needs to stop. Pinch hitting Farmer for Winker was just dumb. Righty/lefty matchup doesn’t justify it. Kyle. Farmer. Sucks.

4.) What in the jesus titty fucking Christ is wrong with this offense? It’s early, but watching the pitchers go out and dominate with nothin
