First post didn't post with the text so remade it.
SO. I bought a '05 G35 6MT from my buddy( first and only owner) dead in the water. literally. locked motor from driving through a puddle and hydro locking the motor(verified for the most part.) got it for $800 and the idea was to swap a VQ engine in and get it up and running. Realized after its a RevUp engine and any decently priced engines come with 120-180k+ miles on it.
I'm 2 months from ASE certification and have torn down engines before so i decided on a rebuild since it'll cost me roughly the same, the heads and block have 78k miles and i can upgrade parts inside the engine for any potential ponyboys i want to achieve with it later.
