a stray cat. He comes to our home to eat. Recently he came with a bite injury. We took it to vet. Pus was drained. Antibiotics given. Injury healed. On 7th day, he started to get fever, accompanied with rapid breathing ranges from 35 to 55 while resting/sleeping.
Then we took to vet and conduct mycoplasma test and cbc. Mycoplasma came negative. Cbc was everything normal except for platelet. It is 38,300 ul, where as normal range is 300,000.
Vet gave some med for a week to see if he gets better. Im not mentioning it as it breaks the rules of the community.
He has been active so far, tired from fever. Eating plenty. Drinking. Pooping and peeing fine. He is such a bright cat. I cant believ
