My step son went to a friend's house after saying they would be at his Gigi's house without telling anyone. His mom called his phone, panicking but for some reason his phone couldn't receive calls. We thought his phone was dead because of that. He didn't use their phone to let anyone know anything. Mom wants to give him a firm but fair punishment. Son HATES reading and is normally glued to his phone. She suggests he be confined to his room until he reads a multi chapter book, and write a summary about it. I suggested that, or make him write sentences. Something similar to "I will not go anywhere without permission, and a charged phone." Also, explain that the phone as well as going places is

Exactly how it sounds; I need super easy, cheap and readily accessible plans or DIY ideas to rig a kitchen sink together for the time being, and yes, I mean create and ENTIRE SINK set up, not just hooking up tubes.

I inherited my dad's house after he passed away recently. He was in the middle of completely renovating it, and we found out that the ENTIRE house was plumbed with pipe that isn't used anymore and plumbers don't work on it. We can deal with low water pressure in the bathroom and dishwasher, but the sink itself is completely screwed. It doesn't drain, the pipes are built wrong, it's just a mess.

Camping sinks, RV sinks, any kind of rig that I can wash dishes in.

I work for a chain of 5 stores. One of them is being renovated so they split their employees between mine and another store. There used to be only 3 of us working at my store, and the district manager will fill in as opener for off days. Now, there are 6 people on the schedule.

If someone only works one day here and the rest of the week at another store, do they get the even split of tips? Cus if so how tf is that even fair? It already isn't fair that I have to share tips I earned with other people who didn't even work that day.

Idk if this has been asked before, but are the people who can look at the creatures without dying REALLY seeing the souls ascend? Has this been discussed before?

Our inspector has been on the prowl for the past two days. Our chain only has 5 locations but our district has over 20.

She inspected a store 2 miles away, only to go WAY out of her way to a store 25 miles in the opposite direction. In our chain, she's given two decent, clean and properly operating stores a 72/73, and our worst, poorly managed, in the hood and nastiest store an 84. I have worked there personally so I am not repeating rumors.

I'm terrified for tomorrow. We've done everything necessary - deep cleaning, prep, labels, dusting and going over training to make sure we are well within regulation. Has anyone experienced this before? Any tips? Please.

Spoiler alert, do not read further;

How were the grounders able to capture, contain, incubate and then reinfect a person with a virus, without some sort of medical equipment or KNOWLEDGE? They had no CDC. It makes no seeeeense.

Okay for back story, my fiance' (we'll call him C) and several of my good friends don't like each other. We've all known each other for almost 15 years. About 8 years or so ago, my fiance and I were dating for the first time and we got into a fight. He was trying to get me to come to his room so we could talk in private, but I didn't want to, and our mutual friend (M) stood up for me. They got into a physical fight. M ended up going to the hospital for a possible concussion and my now fiance' was arrested but the charges were dropped.
Fast forward to now, M and my other friend T have a child together, my God daughter, age 10. I was spending time at M's house with T and my GD, and C was su

Fuck Subway. I work at a store that is one of five in the franchise. We are the least grossing store. Idk why we are even open. Today I walked in to my 4-930 shift with no vegi back ups, we are out of literally all cheese except pepper jack and mozzarella. I had incoming orders online back to back, asking for shit we don’t have. I have been busy all day. Mind you, I’m ALONE. No one to call if I run out of money or anything I need.

So finally while being backed into a corner by 8 customers, 2 online orders who refused a refund and wanted something in place that we didn’t have, I said FUCK THIS SHIT. I put the food away and left. I should have just left it like it was. Not like they could

I Wish I Could Wash It Off?

💭Seeking Support & Advice

Sometimes, I have a hard time forcing myself to shower after something stressful. When I have a periodic meltdown, and I know I need to shower, sometimes I feel like if I scrub hard enough.. if I get every area, behind my ears and my toes that I'll come out of the shower.. better? Almost like I could wash off the disease completely.

Like, when you're angry or you've had a fight with someone, you take a shower. It relaxes you and puts your mind at ease.

I guess I expect in a way to come out and be neurotypical. I know that's stupid.

Does anyone else feel this way?
