I was thinking about this and wondered if DCC existed in the 80's, who would I cast to play Car? Granted, this thought came from me watching my guilty pleasure movie, "Hudson Hawk", but I think he would absolutely nail the part:

BRUCE WILLIS.

Go with me on this: he's got the charisma, charm and can absolutely hold his own as the reluctant hero that's thrust into a bad situation and keeps a (mostly) level head. Let me know what y'all think.

REWARD: My wife finally completed the first Dungeon Crawler Carl book.

For context: My wife and I are both neuro-spicy and have different audio processing issues. So for months, I had been trying to get my wife to read the DCC series with me on audiobook only to find that my wife has a hard time with the audio feedback that comes from the AI in the audiobooks (in no way is this any jab at Jeff Hays' acting. My wife just has specific auditory issues).

So, I started collecting my "Shelf trophies", so maybe my wife could try reading the physical books and try to catch up to me since I was already so far ahead. To her benefit, she made it just over halfway through the book over the l

SpoilerBook 8: A Parade of Horribles

Spoiler Alert

Pony attempting to dance.

Yet ANOTHER reason that Pony is continuously becoming my new favorite. He's unapologetically "weird" and doesn't give a crap. He's just going with it.

Hello Crawlers! With the impending arrival of The Parade of Horribles, I literally had a thought-provoking revelation about the series as a whole: We haven't seen any celebrities in the dungeon.

I know, I know, there's a literal reason for that due to licenses, likenesses and the like, but narratively, there have been wall-to-wall pop culture references from video games, movies, music to everything in between.

With there being so few Crawlers left the further down Carl and company descend, I've noticed that there haven't been any celebrities that they've run into. Not just celebrities but there have also not been any top 1-percenters/CEO's/Captains of industry. There seems to be only wor

Just out of curiosity, are there other useful dating apps that are Polyamory-friendly besides Feeld and OkCupid?

I feel like I'm in such a small niche, I don't honestly know where/how to meet/date others that are Polyamorous.

I (35M) am barely a few months into my weight loss journey starting out in January of this year at 453 lbs., I'm now down to 425. I was recently talking to my wife about some things I've seen on Reddit about people claiming that fatphobia is real and how they've noticed that when they lost substantial weight, they were treated better than they were when they were at their heaviest.

It's not that I don't believe them but I guess I'm curious to know what y'all's experiences have been like if this has occurred to you. I can honestly imagine it being much more prevalent with women losing weight and suddenly being catcalled, treated better and the like but has it also been the case with men too

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to provide an update to my previous post. If for any reason you hadn't read it, I left a link to it below.

I had a follow-up doctor's appointment yesterday where I let him know about my latest updates, how I've been seeing a nutritionist, I've had my second sleep study so my prescription is now in stone so I'll be getting my machine soon, and as of yesterday, I'm finishing my second week on Zepbound (It was a long and arduous journey to get it approved by my insurance and my medical group but I finally got it).

Long story short: I've lost 20 pounds since my last weigh in back on February 12th. I was shocked and still am. While I'm riding this high, I'm only m

Hello everyone. I just joined this group and was hoping if someone could let me know I'm doing the correct thing right this diet I'm on.

For context, I'm 5'11" and at my last weigh in, I was at 453lbs. (Yes, I'm not happy about it but thankfully it's not the heaviest I've ever been). My doctor had me see a nutritionist and suffice it to say, the nutritionist what terribly condescending and was just an awful person that made me feel stupid. I commute for work and hardly have time during the week to exercise and by the weekend, I'm just wanting to stay indoors and rest from so the socialization throughout the week from work. While I'm not likely to go back to that specific nutritionist, she

I've been tearing through reach audiobook since I started late last year and I'm currently on book 5 and I've gotta say that I had to fight the urge so hard to not breakout laughing hysterically at work because I was listening to the audiobook while working.

What got me this time were these "funny arrows" that Carl discoverd and it's description:

"Arrow of Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea: This is a regular arrow, but the tip is dipped in a poison that will inflict you with Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

Trust me on this. You don't want Enthusiastic Double Gonorrhea.

It doesn't kill you, but you'll want it to. It sets your genitals aflame. Literally. And then it heals that area of your bod

I (34M) have been dating my GF (34F) since late September and as far as I can tell, we've been doing well as a couple. However, there have been a few times where we've talked about expectations for this relationship and she's pretty much convinced that I will end up leaving her at some point in the relationship. It's been a few weeks since we've last talked about it but she made it a point to bring it up yesterday kind of out of the blue.

For context, we've met on a dating app and after talking for a little bit, we decided to move the conversations off the app relatively soon after we started talking. After knowing each other a week, we already made plans to meet up and honestly, I've never

I (34M) had someone literally DM me on the dating app, BOO, just to tell me "you're already married. Ewww. Get your gross a** off here". Some 20-something tacky woman thought it was funny and her job tell me to get off of the dating app even though my profile clearly says I'm 1. Polyamorous, and 2. Happily married.

I've never seen someone do something so rude on a dating app before. I deleted/declined the DM request instinctively and took the high road even though I really wanted to tell her and her tacky playboy-bunny tattoo off.

On top of that, I'm still reeling over a lost friendship I had with someone of many years, going back to my college years, all because I finally decided to tel
